• Proposal and design most efficient data centre floor plans using AutoCAD
• Work with customers to review facility engineering drawings
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to review design guidelines
• Use computational fluid dynamics modelling program to analyse cooling architectures
• Keep abreast with current technology trends in facility infrastructure
• Network and attend technical forums

Requirement

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3 years of experience as a technical or pre-sales roles in the data centre or telco industry involving infrastructure design projects, server racks setup, floor plan planning in a subcontractors or OEM environment
• Understand electrical design / layout in a data centre, telecom or engineering consultancy or related field
• Technical knowledge in electrical / mechical / cooling systems in a mission critical infrastructure setup
• Able to work in a cross -functional project management environment
• Good presentation skills and comfortable working with customers directly

Coordination of structural works during construction process

Attending site meeting with contractor and other consultants.

Attending site issues, timely replies to RFI, coordinating VO (if any), material costing and estimation

Liaise closely with internal and external parties as well as the authorities to resolve structure design discrepancies and construction issues

Attending technical and project coordination meeting with various disciplines.

Manage and resolve production, quality, design & engineering and schedule issue

Plan, design and supervise C&S Engineering works on HDB Projects, ensure all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of PracticeCoordination of structural works during construction process

RESPONSIBILITIES

• In order to assist sales with engineering, technical, and sales support for foreign distribution, all inquiries and tenders must be submitted, and project specifications must be finalised.
• Offer engineering support for international distributors in order to finalise specifications.
• Offer engineering assistance for the advancement of strategic operations.
• Assist SMD with technical and drafting needs related to sales efforts.
• Support technical inquiries for local companies and international distributors.

REQUIREMENTS

• Able to speak Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.
• Comfortable with travelling overseas for customer meetings.
• Minimum Diploma in any engineering or technical related field.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD software
