• Ensures that commissioning testing activities are conducted safely and complies with the site PTW and safety regulations and procedures
• Reviews completed commissioning documentation such as checksheets, test procedures, red-line mark-up drawings, commissioning dossiers, etc.
• Follows up with relevant parties to ensure proper closure of outstanding issues arising from commissioning activities

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years years of commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas/ Wind Farm industty
• Experience in commissioning of Diesel Generators/ Compressors/ Pumps/ Piping systems / Utility packages/ cranes / mechanical handling equipment/ HVAC, etc

You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and support of firmware/embedded software applications for existing and next-generation Micro-controller and I/O modules in accordance with engineering best practices/processes, and in partnership with team members across the globe. You will also need to possess the working knowledge of creation and debugging of embedded/software applications. You will participate in or conduct technical reviews with peers to identify problems early in the development phases, and will also need to demonstrate the ability to consistently meet project deliverables, and to work effectively in a diverse team environment.

Requirements:

· Degree / Master in Computer Science/ Embedded Systems / Computer Engineering / Electrical Electronic Engineering with concentration in the areas of Embedded Software engineering

· Relevant experience in developing Real Time Embedded Systems.

· Experience in industrial control systems and functional safety is a great advantage

· Strong knowledge in programming language: C, Object Oriented C++

· Experience with programming 32 bits Microcontroller ( ARM or ColdFire ) and developing low level device driver.

· Experience with development in one or more of the following areas for embedded system:

· Development with RTOS, such as VxWorks, ThreadX or others

· Development of communication protocols like Ethernet/USB/WIFI and CAN/Profibus Automated unit test methodology

· Good analysis skills and proven ability to solve complex problems. Experience in using different hardware-assisted debugging tools

· Good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and as team in multi-cultural environment

· Open-minded, a willingness to experiment within acceptable boundaries and a creative mind to bring novel solutions into design and problem-solving

Responsibilities:

• Perform and ensure that assembly builds and test are completed as scheduled and according to required specifications, drawings and work instruction.
• Report and assist Engineers in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Perform housekeeping and comply with manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol.

Requirements :

• NITEC/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent
• Applicants who do not possess the above will be considered on individual merits
• Able to comprehend schematic/ mechanical drawing, is an advantage
• Experience in Orbital Welding and/or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), is an advantage.
• Willing to work in cleanroom environment with shift system (12 hour shift - 8am to 8pm and vice versa)

Functional Requirement Specifications, Testing and Documentation :

• Draft functional specifications and system performance requirements
• Define unit tests and detailed system integration documents, additionally to any other documents required during the project lifecycle
• Enable and support functional and user acceptance testing

Architect and Design :

• Lead the architectural design of cloud-based SaaS application on AWS, utilizing relevant services to ensure scalability, security, and performance, with CI/CD integration

Machine Learning :

• Work closely with cross-discipline teams, including AIML engineers, UI/UX designers, firmware engineer and IOT-hardware engineers, to ensure a cohesive development process to integrate hardware and/or software systems

Qualifications and skills :

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in system architecture and system development, with a solid understanding of AI, machine learning, and deep learning principles
• Hands-on coding and software design experience building robust and scalable software using Python, C+, SQL, REST, JavaScript, TypeScript / node.js + React/Angular framework
• Experience in building data intensive applications in a modern technology stack Cloud services (AWS, Azure), data pipelines, SQL/No-SQL databases
• Experience building and consuming web-based APIs
• Familiar with continuous deployment environments (eg Jenkins) and test-driven development
• Good understanding and practical experience on Docker, CI/CD and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of Micro services architecture.
