Job Description

Our client is a Japanese language school in Singapore.This role requires a commitment to 8 classes as a full timer and 4 classes as a part timer over 6 days a week. As a Japanese Language Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Japanese language courses, including up to Business Japanese proficiency. You must be able to connect with your students and understand their difficulties in learning the Language and you have to be able to make classes enjoyable yet knowledgeable.

Job Requirement

Reporting directly to: Head of Department

Position description: The teacher is responsible for delivering Cambridge Lower Secondary/Cambridge IGCSE/IBDP curriculum for various Grade levels as assigned by the Principal and timetabled by the school. Pastoral care:

• Report issues of concern to HOD/SLT.
• Maintain accurate student attendance records.

Performance management and professional development:

• There is a mid-term and end of year performance appraisal to assess the performance of the teacher.
