Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in .NET C# programming, primarily in Blazor Technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering well-designed and configured software systems such as in web blazor applications and desktop applications (WPF, C#) that cater to our internal Engineering demand. He/She will also provide technical expertise to the Managers.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of .NET C# programming experience, strong skills in software design, a passion for .NET development and innovation and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

You will be working with the Test Measurement Centre (TMC) team and the Test Development Engineer who will provide the data sources and locations of our devices data.
You will be designing, documenting, developing and delivering software products, specifically responsible for the following as appropriated by the TMC Team for the projects:
Developing .NET C# software modules including Blazor Server Apps,
Writing SQL Server queries, MongoDB transactions and stored procedures
Functional and Interface Specifications
Writing acceptance and deployment reports and executing them
Site Test Specification/Reports
Take a leading role in software documentation, development, configuration and testing on assigned projects
Participate in reviews (document, design, functionality and code reviews)
Actively contribute to the improvement of software development processes
Development of User Manuals and Training the end users


Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years of .Net C# programming experience
Experience in Blazor ASP.NET \ WinForms and WPF GUI
Extensive experience in design techniques and tools as used in Software
Bachelor's degree qualifications or equivalent in Software or Computer Engineering
Experience in using Telerik components is an advantage
Experience in SCRUM master roles and experience in a working SDLC will be advantageous
Some knowledge and workign experience in relational databases (MySQL) and Non-relational DBs such as MongoDB.
Knowledge of design patterns including Singleton, MVVM, Event Driven, WinForms and WPF
Knowledge of Microservices and XML serialization
Superior written and verbal communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics or any related field in Engineering.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering and Product Design, specifically in pressure vessels.
• Proficient in SolidWorks with a strong understanding of AutoCAD 3D or equivalent software, as well as valve differential designs.
• Familiarity with NFPA and relevant international pipeline design Codes and Standards is essential.

Job Description

• Collaborate with test engineering to design and develop test fixtures, and assist in coordinating test fixture sourcing activities.
• Collect operational and test data, evaluate results, and take corrective and continuous improvement actions to optimize system performance.
• Evaluate work methods, procedures, and policies, actively contributing to the development and maintenance of streamlined business processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide comprehensive failure analysis reports for issues encountered during assembly and testing of systems, with a focus on New Product Development projects.
• Perform Process Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis, ensuring robust quality processes are in place.

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.

• Ensuring that all staff under his control observes safety precautions, reporting of unsafe working condition & operation
• Assisting in the investigation of incident/accident reports and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Ensuring that tools & equipment under his control are properly maintained, calibrated and correctly used for the jobs
• Ensuring action is taken at all times to maintain the aircraft on schedule
• General supervision, control & discipline of staff under his charge
• Performing other duties, as and when required

Job Requirement

• Posseses relevant Licences from the Aviation Authority, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience Suitably Rated in B787, B777, B767 or A350
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous and organized
