• A talented and passionate senior individual to join Standard Chartered as a Principal Engineer. In this role, you will drive the engineering strategy of the platform teams under Technology & Architecture. RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

• Have the responsibility to deliver the architectural requirements on functional and non-functional (security and reliability) of technology platform under Software Engineering platform services
• Lead the design and delivery of strategic initiatives for T&A
• A versatile engineer that can be the subject matter expert for certain areas of the platform that’s provided by the T&A software engineering platforms

Our Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
