• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in executing testing and developing test automation solutions involving devices (UI-based or embedded) and/or back-office systems with familiarity on the full system development lifecycle from requirement, development, to testing and deployment;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Able to work well both independently as well as in a team;
• Certification in software testing preferred;
• Experience in Micro-payments/Automatic Fare Collection systems using Smart Cards and in diverse test execution phases (System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Performance testing) would be an advantage

This is a permanent role with a large A1 Main Contractor in the Building and Construction industry in Singapore. This role is based in the client's Headquarters which is in Harbour Front.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules in consultation with the project team
• Coordinate and obtain inputs from project team, contractors and suppliers to support the development of project programs
• Prepare baseline schedule which includes resources and cost loadings
• Work on progress forecast and prepare rolling program
• Update, track and report project progress against planned schedule
• Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program

Job Requirements

Main goals

Provide end-user support for the Marlink Maritime Satellite communication and value-added solutions – via phone, email and remote management & control channels.

Responsibilities and authorisation

The Support Engineer is responsible for receiving, logging and carrying out administration and fault investigation tasks on the incidents reported by the Marlink end-user/customer.

He/she is further responsible for escalating issues to 2/3.line support functions whenever applicable – as part of the incident management process. The Support Engineer is also responsible for follow up towards the end-user/customer and keeping the customer updated on the progress/status of reported incidents.

He/she is authorized to escalate incidents and problems to the upper support team or Field Resource and/or Logistics when deemed necessary to ensure the continuity of critical Customer and Marlink services.

Main tasks

• Perform first line-end user support over the phone, via email or via remote management & control channels
• Participate in request fulfilment activities when applicable.
• Be part of the 24/7 (follow the sun) shift rotation in RCS team
• Work closely with the other functions in the Maritime Operation and Delivery
• Documentation of all work related to e.g., incident management and request fulfilment in the Marlink Ticketing System.
