PEAK360 is located at The Central @ Clarke Quay.
We are about 8,000sqft, a gym operating daily from 7am - 10pm.
We offer a space for freelance personal trainers to train their clients, we offer services for personal training by our Trainers and gym memberships.
We also have a studio (PEAK360 Studio), a space for trainers to conduct their classes, workshops and sports massage. It is also open for corporate classes and events.
And the best thing about our gym is we have PEAK360 Café that offers delicious coffee, a variety of healthy & scrumptious protein shakes, juices, sandwiches, wraps and muffins.
The Front Desk Officer at a gym serves as the first point of contact for members and potential members. They play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and friendly environment that encourages regular gym usage and member retention.
Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and highly-organized individual to join our team as a Gym Front Desk Staff member. This role involves a variety of tasks, including greeting members, answering phones, managing member accounts, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests upon arrival and assist them as necessary.
- Manage member check-ins and monitor gym access.
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Assist in membership sign-ups, cancellations, and updating member account information.
- Provide information about gym classes, services, and policies.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments for services, classes, and memberships.
- Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with gym tours for potential members and guests.
- Resolve member issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform other administrative tasks/tasks as assigned by Head of Department.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or front desk experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, such as MS Office.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings weekends and public holidays.
- Knowledge of basic gym operations and fitness services is desirable.
