Roles & Responsibilities

1. To assist the Project Manager in implementing the safety management system to ensure staff and workers work in a safe and healthy environment.

19. Organise campaigns, training course to develop and sustain the interest of workers in maintaining good environment health standards.

Logistics / Site Coordinator

Salary: $3,000-$4,000

Working Location & Site office: Jurong Port

Working Hours:

• Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm (OT most likely required, but no OT pay)
• As this is a supervisory position and working at Jurong Port, they must be 24/7 on standby for any issues occur since the shipments run 24/7. However, there will be workers around doing two shift work, day and night, so the supervisors don’t need to be there at night unless issues occur.

We are currently seeking a highly organized and efficient Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial for managing the discharge of construction aggregates (stones, sand) at a port, ensuring smooth discharging operations for all barges and vessels.

Responsibilities:

• Allocate manpower and equipment effectively to manage and ensure vessel and barge discharging operations of construction aggregates at the port runs smoothly.
• Oversee daily operations related to the arrival and departure of barges and vessels.
• Liaise with port authorities to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily reports on barge and vessel activities.
• Manage warehouse inventory, ensuring optimal supply of goods for delivery to customers.
• Coordinate with the truck teams and ensure all company goods are promptly delivered.
• Manage and ensure the safety of our workforce at work.
• Ensure equipment are maintained and operational for every deployment.
• Able and willing to work irregular hours, including weekends. Port operations run 24/7.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics coordination
• Able to drive and hold a valid driver’s license in Singapore. Company vehicle provided for work use.

The Risk Control and Compliance Officer plays a key role in ensuring that all trading activities within the oil trading business adhere to regulatory requirements, industry practices, and internal policies. The officer will have a strong focus on Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance to mitigate the risks associated with trading in the commodity market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing KYC checks for onboarding new clients, suppliers, and counterparties involved in oil trading activities. Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct vessel vetting to verify that vessels meet company standards for safety, compliance, and operational suitability.
• Maintain organized records and ensure that KYC files are readily accessible for audits and compliance checks.
• Offer support to the Trading teams on compliance-related contractual clauses applicable to both physical and derivatives trading.
• Support the identification and assessment of market, credit, and operational risks within the company’s trading activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks, ensuring that the company operates within its established risk tolerance.
• Assist in external reviews and audits.
• Carry out and support other duties assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in risk control, compliance, or KYC role, ideally within the oil trading sector.
• Candidates with experience in using risk management systems (such as CTRM) are preferred.
• Strong understanding of KYC regulations and the oil trading sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk, and investigate potential issues.Proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain trust and integrity within a team.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the organisation's WSH procedures to promote a safe work environment.
• Conducts incident investigations and identifies cases of non-compliance with organisational procedures and legal WSH requirements.
