JOB SUMMARY

• The purpose of the role is to manage delivery of regulatory requirements and support governance and control within the OCIR and FMI function in Group Resilience. The individual supports the Head of OCIR & FMI and will work closely with key stakeholders in Group and Regional Resilience teams, across Business and Functions, Operational Risk, Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) and other functions to ensure that the requirements of the regulations are monitored and delivered effectively so as to maintain ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Operational Continuity in Resolution is a key element of the broader Recovery and Resolution Planning initiative, the G20 Financial Stability Board’s effort to eliminate the problem of “Too Big to Fail” Banks. OCIR & FMI aim to ensure that in a Resolution Scenario, Standard Chartered can run on in an orderly fashion until it’s restructured, without negatively impacting the financial system or the wider economy of the countries we operate in.
• For FMIs specifically, this role will require engagement with Transaction Banking, Retail Banking, Financial Markets, Technology & Operations to ensure the resolution readiness of our key clearing and settlement arrangements both internally and externally. • Support the implementation of Client Service Resilience Policy and ensuring OCIR mandatory control statements are included in the policy, with control assessments implemented.

• Manage compliance with food and beverage hygiene policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
• Direct all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, portioning, packaging, and production scheduling.
• Design and develop both seasonal and permanent menus that align with company standards, customer preferences, and dietary requirements.
• Oversee inventory levels, order ingredients, and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Prepare and manage the central kitchen’s budget, including labour, supplies, and equipment costs.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related.
• Has 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a central kitchen or large-scale food production environment.
• Professional culinary experience, including at least 3 years of experience in a chef/senior chef role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and SFA compliances.
