Travel Operations Executive

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle in-bound and outbound trips (Mainly Japan related)
• Handle hotel reservations, respond to inquiries about rates, and check availability.
• Manage restaurant reservations for clients.
• Coordinate and schedule transportation, including buses and other modes of transport.
• Arrange tour guides and facilitate interpretation.
• Coordinate ticket arrangements for attractions like Night Safari and USS.
• Organize and maintain documents and data.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as required. (Example: provide on-site assistance for customers in case of emergencies, sudden illnesses, or injuries.)

Job Requirements:

• Experience in office work, including data entry.
• Meticulous and able to handle data entries accurately and efficiently.
• Proficiency in Mandarin language will be necessary to liaise with mandarin speaking clients.
• Understanding about Japanese language will be a plus point (NOT a must)
• Ability to respond to issues in case of emergency, considering the industry's 24/7 operation.
• Experience in the travel industry will be an added advantage.

Requirements

In this position as an Reinsurance Broking Executive, you will be expected to support the treaty reinsurance business units and provide pre-bind/post-bind underwriting support across all business classes. You will be required to work with offices across the region and ensure alignment on working practice and complying with the company's policies. You will manage logging of data including policy; premium; endorsement; submission, quote & renewal data onto the relevant System of Record and maintain any other defined databases for the Underwriters as required.

In order to be successful in this position, the incumbent needs to administer all reinsurance documentation and templates; maintain existing and develop new when required; ensure that document management is completed to the correct standard. The successful incumbent will also be tasked to manage and apply the credit control function and related bank accounts in collaboration with other functional areas including Finance, Operations, Claims, and others as required.
