Responsibilities:
· Leading a team of testers and be responsible for the quality of their work
· Seeks to continuously improve test processes (Root Cause Analysis, Correction and Preventions)
· Implement critical knowledge transfer and communication processes with all teams
· Test Management – Ensure effective and efficient application of test processes and tools using techniques such as White box, Grey Box, Black box, Test-to-Pass, Test-to-Fail and automation
· Responsible for management and coordination of all testing activities on assigned projects including definition of testing approach, test effort estimation, progress and status reporting, training and education on QA processes and tools
· Providing continuous review and recommendations for improvement of processes related to status reporting/dash-boarding and QA
· Coaches and supports team – Knowledge Transfer
· Define project requirements and deliverables based on scope
· Plan coverage projects from initiation through closing states
· Create test coverage documentation, test execution plans, and metrics reports
· Tracking Quality Assurance metrics (e.g. defect density, open defect count)
· Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives
· Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products
· Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the above functional activities.
· Plan, monitor and control all testing activities and tasks.
· Automation of the testing process in-sprint Test Automation
· Responsible for analysis, design, test scripts and test suites
· Responsible for timely delivery of different testing automation milestones
· Identify and mitigate the Risk and Issue Management
· Coordinate interfacing systems and teams for integration test activities.
· Manage nonfunctional testing end to end
Experience
· 7-10 years of experience in leading quality assurance for Insurance Domain with 3-4 years hands on experience on Life 400 application testing
· 5 +years hands on experience delivering quality test automation solutions for Applications,
· Mobile (Appium, Microservices, Web (Selenium) and End to End in the field of financial applications testing
· Work in conjunction with the Application Lead to Ensure Software QA practices related to Design Review and Code Reviews are being performed.
· Experience in design and development of the System and Integration Test plans.
· Experience developing test deliverables like test plans, test cases, test data, traceability matrix.
· Ensure that defects are correctly captured, reviewed, prioritized, and triaged and that Break-Fix resources are assigned to resolve defects.
· Experience in working with multi browser and multi devices automation with complex applications
· Expertise in automation of mainframe-based application like AS400
· Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
· Experience automating through the UI, API and web services from scratch
· Hands on development of automated test scripts
· Should have experience in implementing BDD approach.
· Experience in framework integrate with CI-CD Pipeline with help of DevOps
· Should have experience in Device farm
· Experience in testing, automation, performance and load and security testing.
· Experience of using and implementing a variety of test tools, including tools for test management/planning, defect tracking e.g. Tools JIRA, Confluence,
Education
· Academic: Master’s degree (preferred in computers)
· Professional Certification(s):ISTQ and Automation Tool certificate(preferred)
