Key Roles and Responsibilities

Job Scope

- Process claim applications, verify correctness and completeness of forms and supporting documents

- Attend to queries from grantees and stakeholders

- Prepare claims verification report for review

- Follow-up on the progress of claims processing to completion of workflow

- Other ad-hoc duties related to claims processing

Requirements:

- Degree in any discipline, or a diploma holder. Candidates with degrees/diplomas in business related disciplines would be at an advantage.

- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Experience in handling grants and claims would be an advantage

- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

- Must uphold strong code of work ethics and confidentiality of information

- Detailed, meticulous, and committed to meeting deadlines

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is a unique department at NTU Singapore, advancing cutting-edge education and research in diverse areas of chemistry, chemical engineering, bio(medical)engineering, biotechnology, and other relevant multidisciplinary fields. CCEB invites applications for the area of Sustainability Engineering at the Assistant Professor level. Possible areas include but are not limited to data driven energy system modelling, carbon economics, logistics and supply chain management, and/or techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment, particularly in the context of sustainability and circularity.

We are open to expanding these areas as well as entering new fields. Applicants should hold a Ph.D in a related science or engineering field by the beginning of employment and should have demonstrated experience in the related research. Preference will be given to individuals with foundational training in chemical engineering or closely related disciplines. Under special circumstances, an untenured associate or senior faculty appointment is possible, commensurate with experience. Faculty duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the related subjects and developing course materials, conducting original scholarly research, as well as advising, supervising, training, and mentoring students and junior researchers. Job Description

• Position: QA/QC Assistant
• Singapore's leading seafood processors, exporters and distributors
• Working hours: 5.5 days (Monday to Friday, 8am – 5.30pm; Saturday 8am – 12noon)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): up to $2,500 basic salary + yearly performance bonus

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day inspection of in-process and finished products.
• Conduct daily hygiene inspection of process workers, process rooms and related areas to ensure it meets required standards.
• Ensure proper records of product and hygiene inspections.
• Responsible for reporting any non-conformance of products/process/ hygiene violation in timely manner.
• Assist in guiding production leaders/operators in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement in production area.
• Assist in product development and ensure proper maintenance of all data, documents and records relating to product development.
• Assist QA Executive in implementation/ maintenance of SFA, Halal, ISO22000 & HACCP certifications.
• Assist QA Executive for Quality-related matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science/microbiology.
• Preferably at least 1 year experience as QC in Food Manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of ISO 22000/ HACCP/GMP/ Halal requirements is advantageous.
• Meticulous, positive working attitude, able to cooperate/ communicate with all level of employee.
