• Undertake to review of corporate documentation including but not limited to legal agreements and resolutions

• Assist banking relationships and treasury management of bridge facilities

• Oversee relationships with external accountants, auditors, corporate secretarial service providers, and fund administrators on various corporate matters

• Manage and track regulatory inspection matters in particularly ACRA filling

• Keep up to date with regulatory changes and provide advice to the business

• Handle new initiatives and projects to constantly strive to improve the compliance team and the work undertaken

Education and/or Work Experience

• University Degree holder preferred

• Compliance experience in private equity firm preferred or alternatively candidates who has in depth experience on company secretarial matters

• Dynamic and assertive individual who is up for challenges and is a motivated self-starter

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Generate payment proposals to effect payments via various modes e.g. cheques, transfers, interbank GIRO etc.
• Vet through invoices or payment requests.
• Monitor payments via Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA) and ensure payments are processed in a timely manner.
• Request funds from institution.
• Review and follow up on open items in bank clearing account.
• Follow up with payment requestor for reissuance of expired cheques and long outstanding reconciling items.
• Assess the withholding tax status of invoices from overseas vendors and file withholding tax return within stipulated timeline.
• Preparation of withholding tax schedule.
• Complete bank statement posting and Accounts Payable clearing before the month-end closing.
• Assist in mail sorting according to the planned duty roster.
• Train and guide junior staff and assist in resolving difficulties encountered by them.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting is preferred
• Experience in SAP is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• High integrity, meticulous and proactive
• Independent, self-driven with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Customer service oriented with good service attributes and team spirit to achieve win-win outcome

Summary

This position is responsible for addressing inquiries and feedback from guests and various channels. Ensuring that VIPs and CIPs are assigned appropriate rooms and that their accommodations are satisfactory prior to their arrival.

Responsibilities

• Handling of Reception / Front Desk duties including but not limited to checking-in and checking-out of hotel guests.
• Provide courteous and efficient service to all hotel guests.
• Ensure that all telephone calls are handled promptly.
• Be familiar with all room types and rates in the hotel and their availability status; so as to up-sell whenever possible.
• Handle cashiering functions and adhere to the hotel’s Standard Policies & Procedure.
• Take ownership of problems, handle guest complaints promptly according to established procedures and then report to the supervisor for further follow up where necessary.
• Be familiar with hotel facilities and functions as well as major city attractions and events so as to provide guests with accurate information as requested.
• Ensure a professional and courteous working relationship and maintain an effective flow of communication with all hotel personnel.

Requirements

• A minimum Diploma qualification in any field.
• Relevant work experience will be duly considered.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.
• Positive attitude with an outgoing personality and good communications skills.
• Preferred experience in the hospitality industry along with familiarity of the Opera system.
