About The Job

Key Responsibilities:

- Programme Counselling and Customer Service

- Website Content Management

• Assist the SRC Manager with the copywriting/copy editing and updating of information on the website, ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Schools, Admissions department) to ensure that student recruitment information on the website is kept updated and current.
• Check and ensure accurate and up-to-date student recruitment-related information on the website.
• Post student recruitment events/activities on the website.

General Responsibilities:

• Participate in University-wide activities as specified in the respective action plans and/or duty rosters (E.g., exam invigilation, orientation, convocation, etc.).
• Coordinate department events/processes, schools, etc.

• Oversee bank-wide Policies and Procedures (P&P) Management, including initiating of periodic P&P management task, facilitating, maintaining and managing all required activities related to updating and publishing policies and procedures in P&P system
• Initiate and facilitate the Business User Access Review and checks, maintain the Business System Listing and perform the role of System Administrator for systems maintained by ICCD
• Prepare relevant operational risk reports and presentation materials to Risk Management Committee (RMC), Senior Management, Head Office and regulators

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and above, preferably in Business, Banking and Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar capacity, preferably in a Financial Institution

Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Adhere to both business and underwriting plans and strategies to support the business growth through the various distribution channels.
• Working with the Head to drive the profitable growth of Motor portfolio for the company and achieving market leadership.
• Working with the Head to establish best practices and processes to ensure that the team meet the company’s service standards set.

Business Development

• Assist the Head in successful business penetration launch.
• Assist the Head in growing new and existing business through strengthened account relationships by way of a multi-tier approach.
• Assist the Head in driving efforts in key business and line reviews including product selection, pricing, new product introductions, competitive (healthy) conversions via Key Decision Influencer, etc.
• Assist the Head in performing territory and distribution channel analyses and planning in order to prioritize allocation of efforts to maximize profitable growth.

Underwriting
Assist the Head and members to:

• Review and prepare underwriting / renewal information
• Prepare Motor Raters for discussion with Head.
• Underwrite risk and maintain a profitable book of Motor business.
• Prepare quotation slips after finalization with Head
• Attend to queries or mid-term changes from existing accounts
• Liaise with intermediaries and follow up on new quotations and renewals
• Ensure timely and proper passing down of instructions to Policy Administration with the required information / documentation.
• Ensure that sanction checks are conducted.
• Handle the checking of policies and broking slips
• Update and maintain the records, schedules, statistics, etc.
• Assist the Head to compile, analyze and prepare monthly reports required for monthly meetings and business reviews.
• Ensure that an acceptable pricing and terms is determine within own underwriting authority and underwriting guidelines, on new business and renewals.
• Ensure acceptable loss ratio through coordinating account stewardship process, loss control activities, tracking and following up on large claims and related activity as required.
• Ensure evaluation of facultative reinsurance needs and coordination as necessary within company underwriting and risk control guidelines.
• Stay current on competition, underwriting environment, and market conditions and to share findings and updates with all members of the team as appropriate.

Channel / Relationship Management / Service Standards

• Develop, maintain and deepen relationships with intermediaries in support of business retention and acquisition and works with customers and distributors (agents & brokers) to determine their insurance related needs and provide solutions.
• Maintain service standards by timely response to intermediaries’ requests and timely receipt of collateral and agreements in addition to meeting deadlines on submissions of quotations, certificates and/or policies.
• Adopt practices to ensure rigorous screening via our KYC process.

Staff Training & Development

Job Requirement

• ACII, ANZIIF or Degree/Diploma in Insurance

Responsibilities:

• Responsible in managing, processing and reviewing the KYC information and documents for client on-boarding or periodic review
• Work, coordinate and liaise across businesses and compliance units for timely completion of account onboarding and periodic review
• Follow thoroughly the CDD and KYC review with relevant parties eg external and internal stakeholders to facilitate the collection of KYC and relevant documents including tax information/documents and ensuring clients are onboarded or account information are refreshed/updated in accordance to the company’s AML/KYC standards

• Diploma/Degree with at least 2 year of working experience preferably from financial institution sectors with experience in Institutional and Corporate Clients onboarding
• Knowledge on regulatory requirements/guidelines and KYC procedures and corroboration of SOW/SOF for high networth clients is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Accuracy, meticulous, attention to detail and able to multitask and complete tasks under tight deadline
