Facilities Executive

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for the day to day operations, maintenance of building’s facilities and carry out predictive and preventive maintenance.

Work closely with clients, in-house technical staff, contractors, building management to resolve facilities issues.

Supervise contractors work performance and ensure high safety standards are adhered to.

Provide technical support to site supervisors and technicians

Timely respond to emergency calls in respect to facilities breakdown.

Responsible for project budgeting, purchasing and cost control.

Prepare monthly site management reports and ensure all servicing entered into contract management system is accurate and appropriate.

Ensure that the customer has signed on the maintenance reports.

Use of computer and appropriate computer software

Revise and conduct Risk Assessment to the team.

Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of works.

Attend to site meeting as directed.

Requirement

Diploma in related field or equivalent

Must be able to work under pressure

Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Diligent and strong attention to details

At least 3 years of experience

• Manage operational tasks related to ISO tanks
• Organize and generate documentation for import/export, transshipment operations, and processing orders for local and international clients
• Communicate with agents, haulers, forwarders, and customers
• Facilitate invoicing and oversee payment processes
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• ITE or Diploma in related field
• At least 2 years of experience handling ISO Tanks import & export

The KidSTART programme provides upstream support to children from low-income families in the areas of early childhood development, health, and social support. As a KidSTART Executive, you will actively support the KidSTART team in administrative and family engagement tasks.

Responsibilities

As a KidSTART Executive, you will be expected to:

Perform administrative duties

• Maintain updated information and documentation of KidSTART families on SSNet
• Collation of forms and data, including but not limited to attendance and monthly data submissions
• Prepare logistics, materials and resources for family engagements
• Inventory management of curriculum resources and materials
• Support information gathering and assessments
• Support intake, assessment and assignment of referrals
• Conduct engagement when necessary
• Any other responsibilities or duties assigned by the Head of KidSTART

Support KidSTART Practitioners’ (KSP) work with families

• Support KSPs on their home visits by engaging the children when KSP is engaging caregivers
• Support KSPs to conduct observations for assessments when required
• Support KSPs to provide last mile support to families (i.e. Accompany caregivers and/or their children’s medical appointments, immunisations or therapy sessions, delivery of sponsorship items)
• Provide translation support for KSPs when required

Others

• To support other ad hoc projects organised by the centre

Job Requirement

• Diploma in any discipline (Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, Early Childhood & Nursing preferred)
• 2-3 years of work experience in the social service sector or early childhood development is preferred
• Fresh graduates will be considered too. Experience working with families and/or children through volunteer work, familiarity with the needs of low-income families is an added advantage.
• An excellent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, but also able to work independently.
• Possesses a keen interest in parenting and child development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Good writing skills for case management and comfortable with data collation for reporting purposes.
• Passionate and committed to work with parents / caregivers and their children.
• Empathetic towards the needs and challenges of parents / caregivers.
• Capacity to reflect on key strengths and needs and motivated to enhance personal effectiveness and efficiency at work.
• Flexible, nimble, and able to adapt to organisational changes.
• Motivated towards learning and professional development.
• Willing and able to work on some weekday evenings and weekends.
