Major Duties and Responsibilities :
. Track and Trace shipments
. Prepare, handle, and process documentation - including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents
. Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
. Dispatch freight
. Communicate effectively and timely with customers, vendors, other offices worldwide, and co-workers through high volume of email, phone, instant message, and in person
. Monitor internal / customer reports
. Contribute to maintaining strong vendor relationships - customers and others
. Maintain compliance standards at all times - including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements
. Meet key performance indicators in support of department, branch, product, and company goals
. Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency
. Escalation of problems to Management when necessary
Qualifications :
. Applicant needs to be detailed-oriented and able to work in a team environment
. Applicant must possess the ability to multi-task, and have excellent time management skills
. Additionally, applicant needs the ability to work with data to identify issues, and support operational improvement
. Good organizational and communication skills are essential
Minimum Qualifications :
. Fluent in English
. Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel and Word
. Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
. Ability to think critically and multitask
. Effective interpersonal skills-including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
