Directs and coordinates engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices. We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in Hadoop, Spark, and SQL, specifically within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and platforms to support critical banking applications and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines and workflows using Hadoop and Spark frameworks to support the bank’s data processing needs.
• Data Integration & ETL: Create ETL processes to extract, transform, and load large datasets into Hadoop ecosystems from various banking systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
• Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries to manage and analyze data stored across relational databases, data lakes, and cloud platforms.
• Data Processing & Analysis: Implement scalable data processing solutions to analyze large datasets, provide insights, and deliver solutions for financial services and risk management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to ensure data solutions align with banking sector needs, including compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Fine-tune Hadoop and Spark applications for performance, improving throughput and reducing latency.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong years  experience as a Data Engineer, specifically within the banking or financial sector.
• Proficiency in Hadoop ecosystem tools (HDFS, Hive, HBase) and Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience in data governance and compliance regulations within the financial industry.

As part of our mission, we are looking for a skilled Data Center Networking Engineer to join our team. This role will be crucial in ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of our data center networks. Key Responsibilities:

• Improve and work with automation tools to speed up network provisioning and enhance the observability of network health.
• Help with decision-making on the network component level across the integrated cloud systems based on performance, features, and cost, including analysis of risks and emphasis on ease of use, reliability, security, availability, maintainability, sustainability, and quality.
• Defines systems implementation and integration approach and plans to ensure optimum performance and reliability across servers, networks, related utilities, and hardware and software that comprise the cloud infrastructure.
• Delivers end-to-end technical solutions to customer problems, including deploying solutions, executing benchmark tests, and preparing documentation.
• Collaborates with other teams to analyze next-generation requirements and opportunities and may influence and guide research and academic collaboration in the space of cloud systems and solutions, including proof of concept and solutions beyond current industry approaches.
• Leverage your knowledge of InfiniBand (IB) and RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) to optimize network performance in high-performance computing (HPC) environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 6+ years of experience.
  • Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of experience.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting complex data center networks.
• 3+ years of experience with InfiniBand (IB) and/or RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with classic routing and switching technologies.
• 3+ years of experience with network technologies such as VXLAN/EVPN.
• 3+ years of experience working with Arista hardware, EoS, and eAPI.
• Familiarity with network monitoring techniques, including telemetry streaming.
• Proficiency with Linux-like operating systems.
• Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Knowledge of Network Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Python/GO, Ansible, GIT
• Network services such as DDI, Firewalls, and Load Balancers
• Knowledge of the server platforms, NICs
• CI/CD methodology and GitHub/GitLab repository distribution
• Data Center planning - rack elevations, cabling plan, cables/transceivers.

Job description:

• Responsible to develop and review electrical design plans, specifications, and construction documents for the project.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to the electrical design team, ensuring that electrical systems are designed and installed according to project standards and codes.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that electrical systems are integrated correctly into the building design.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs related to electrical systems and equipment and provide timely feedback to the design team.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that electrical systems are installed correctly and according to the design plans and specifications.
• Manage the commissioning and start-up of electrical systems and equipment, including testing and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to the construction team, including addressing technical issues, resolving conflicts, and managing change orders related to electrical systems.
• Review engineering designs and calculations to ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
• At least 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on construction projects. Candidate with less experience will be considered for a junior role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and other related system.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to electrical systems.
• Sound knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation.
