Role: Electrical Engineer
Permanent Position
Location: Central, Singapore (Outram)
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on the system, including testing, inspection, adjustment, and calibration tasks, both at heights and within equipment enclosures.
· Maintain, test, and troubleshoot key systems, including:
o Accelerator systems
o Irradiation devices
o Patient alignment systems
o Safety interlock systems
· Monitor the operation of the system and identify areas for performance improvement.
· Adopt and integrate new technology, products, and processes to enhance system functionality.
· Respond promptly to service calls, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
· Fulfill work orders, submit reports (including timecards, working reports, and expense reports), and adhere to company and customer procedures.
· Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning activities when necessary.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including radiation safety regulations, company policies, and applicable laws.
· Work with high-voltage equipment, magnetic fields, and in radiation-prone environments.
· Rotating shift work is required. (First Shift: 05:00 – 14:00 / Second Shift: 13:00 – 22:00)
Requirements:
· Diploma or higher in engineering or related disciplines.
· Experience in maintenance or field service.
· Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering documents (e.g., schematics, circuit diagrams, piping diagrams).
· Experience using electronic test and measurement instruments such as DVM, oscilloscopes, and micrometers.
· Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
· Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex equipment and systems.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Comfortable with working at heights and lifting up to 20 kg repeatedly.
· A customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of teamwork.
