What you need to have

• You have at least 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role developing highly scalable applications
• Good written and spoken English
• Hands on expertise in Java / Javascript or its derivatives (Typescript, NodeJS, Scala, Kotlin, Springboot, etc)
• Have hands on experience on one of this front-end development (Flutter Preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities

On-Site Support: Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance for NetBackup solutions.

Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain NetBackup software and related components in client environments.

Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues related to backup and recovery processes, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.

Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance, implement optimizations, and proactively identify areas for improvement.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to configurations, processes, and issue resolutions.

Training: Provide training to end-users and client IT staff on NetBackup best practices and usage.

Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, vendors, and internal teams to address complex technical challenges.

Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute NetBackup software upgrades, patches, and updates as needed.

Security Compliance: Ensure that NetBackup environments adhere to security policies and standards.

L2 Level Responsibilities: Handle more complex technical issues escalated from L1 support. Perform advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance tasks.

Client Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with NetBackup services.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Previous experience as a NetBackup Engineer or in a similar role with expertise in backup and recovery solutions.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in NetBackup or related technologies are often preferred.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of Veritas NetBackup software and its components.

Strong understanding of backup and recovery processes.

Familiarity with storage technologies and data management.

You will be responsible to oversee and devise a systematic inventory management of equipment and assist in data compliance and maintenance, including streamline administrative workflow process in the relevant division

The other role is to educate end users on the safety usage of equipment besides troubleshooting and performing functional checks on the equipment and Audio Visual Equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform set up and functional checks of all the Equipment
• Ensure cleanliness and working condition of the machines
• Perform functional checks on the System and console to ensure it is in good

working condition

• Ascertain and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions, failure and technical difficulties
• Provide necessary technical support during equipment failures and collaborates with Biomedical Engineer for any technical problems needing further attention
• Coordinate and liaise with the Biomedical Engineer for the installations and commissioning of new Equipment and / or equipment for trial.
• Follow up on all repairs and schedule preventive maintenance services on respective division
• Provide generic IT support to resolve hardware issues eg. printer, AIO, network, etc.
• Assist the collection, validation, and organization of data.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and cleansing.
• Support and maintain databases, data systems, and data entry processes.
• Collaborate with research teams and collaborators to identify data requirements and ensure data availability.
