Design end-to-end solutions based on business requirements, ensuring that these solutions are both effective and efficient in meeting the defined objectives.
Organize meetings and workshops with users and subject matter experts to understand business requirements. You will collaborate with these experts to create comprehensive business workflows for the Business Requirements Document (BRD) and Functional Specifications Document (FSD), ensuring alignment with IT roadmap and strategies.
Articulate business requirements to vendors, providing effort estimation and ensuring complete coverage of the business requirements relevant to vendor delivery.
Work closely with the IT development team, Application Architects, and vendors to deliver prototypes (when needed), and evaluate these with business users to align expectations and solidify requirements.
Coordinate cross-functional team members and activities for business work streams or entire change and technology implementation initiatives. You'll ensure all business requirements are addressed within functional specifications and keep the Project Manager and/or functional stream leads updated on progress.
Support Business Leads or user representatives in preparing training plans or materials, and user manuals.
Assist Product Owner in reviewing UAT test artifacts like test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and data. Your role will involve thorough assessment of the upstream and downstream impact of changes, and ensuring the quality of JIRA stories by identifying comprehensive exception scenarios.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the wealth management sector, with a deep understanding of investment products, portfolio management, financial planning, and client servicing.
5+ years of experience in investment products and business solution analysis, preferably in the financial services industry. Experience with technology platforms is beneficial, but not a primary requirement.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data from various sources.
Solid knowledge of wealth management industry trends, including regulatory requirements, digital transformation, and evolving client expectations.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying creative and innovative solutions.
Experience working in an agile development environment and familiarity with agile methodologies.
Proficiency in using business analysis tools, project management software.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
