• Provide timely reporting of the Group and Business Units’ result including financial analysis and financial information for management to monitor performance and formulate business decision.

• Manage all aspects of financial matters including accounting, financial control, financial reporting, variance analysis.

• Ensure all transactional activities are carried out in accordance with IFRS.

• Ensure proper internal controls are in placed to safeguard the interest of the company and compliances to corporate policies.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. Corp Development, legal) and also external auditors and relevant government authorities to ensure compliance with accounting, tax, legislative and other regulatory requirements.

• Manage year end Group audit reporting, and local statutory reporting process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Responsible for the accounting policies of the Group to ensure consistency among all the entities in the Group and compliance within the Group and Shareholder’s accounting guidelines.

• Support portfolio companies on financial matters.

• Provide advice to the local team on all accounting-related matters.

• Examples of research finance functions to be supported include but will not be limited to processing of payment, billing and procurement, FY closing matters such as collation of expenses for accrual and actualisation, as well as tracking of utilisation or preparing projections for available research funding.
• Involved in supporting of other secretariat/administrative initiatives when required
