Role: Test Analyst (Banking / 6 month contract)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios and detailed end-to-end test cases for assigned projects related to the digital platform’s user acceptance testing
• Write test cases in JBehave for agile projects
• Expert in using testing tools such as JIRA and Confluence to execute and maintain project status
• Knowledge of web and mobile application testing in the banking domain:Good time management
  Keen eye for details to ensure quality and timely output
  
• Detect, report, and track defects in application tools and with various stakeholders to ensure proper closure of issues
• Collaborate proactively with all stakeholders to complete job assigned from clarification to issue closure
• Good with documentation to update project changes timely

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in web and mobile application testing in the banking industry is preferred
• Strong analytic skills to process complex requirements and develop end-to-end scenarios and test cases
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies:Understand the life cycle of testing in both automated and manual testing
  
• Experience in running or being part of an agile project team in the banking industry:Hands-on experience with JBehave
  
• Understanding Java and VB Scripting is an advantage:For automation QA role, hands-on usage of Selenium or Appium is a must
  
• Experience with quality assurance processes and JIRA is required
• Good stakeholder engagement skills with strong verbal and written communication:Collaborate closely across multiple teams during project execution
  
• Good team player with strong organizational skills:Ability to work independently with minimum guidance

• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable information
• Ensure all accounts payable entries are in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Ensure all invoices are validated against supporting documents
• Identify unprocessed invoices for accrual and Capex invoices for capitalization
• Verify and investigate discrepancies in invoices with relevant staff and resolve with suppliers.
• Update Cashbook
• Assist in month end closing activities
• Assist in handling accounts payable related queries from external and internal stakeholders
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Accountancy
• At least 1 - 2 years of prior work experience in accounts payable preferred
• Able to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Detail oriented and able to work independently
• Well-organised and able to multi-task to meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS office applications, e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• Knowledge in ERP system, e.g. Oracle NetSuite accounting software will be advantageous

Role: Automation Tester (Banking / 6 month contract)

Key Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios and detailed end-to-end test cases for the assigned projects relating to the digital platform’s user acceptance testing.
• Able to write test cases in JBehave for agile projects.
• Expert in using testing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc., to execute and maintain project status.
• Knowledge of web and mobile application testing in the banking domain, with good time management and keen eye for details to ensure quality and timely output.
• Detect, report, and track defects in the application tools and with various stakeholders to ensure proper closure of issues.
• Analyse BDD/User stories from the PO, review, and come up with high-level test scenarios to meet user requirements.
• Execute the assigned manual or automation testing, log defects, and follow up on defects to ensure timely closure. Generate reports of testing, prepare training slides for touchpoints, and required update to delivery.
• Expected to be an expert in the banking domain and able to write test plan and testing summary documents. To write and execute end-to-end test scenarios with detailed steps as per requirements either via manual or automation testing.
• Actively participate and collaborate in project meetings and discussions, keen attention to details and time management to ensure quality and timely output of the project assigned.
• Develop maintainable automated checks in collaboration with our development teams.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders proactively to complete the job assigned from clarification to issue closure.
• Good with documentation as constant updates to project changes will need to be updated timely.

Required Experience:

• At least 2 years of working experience(s) preferably in Web and Mobile Banking solutions, excellent technical programming skills with familiarity with the various programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of Appium, Selenium, JUNIT.
• Strong coding knowledge in Java, Objective-C, JavaScript, or similar.
• Good experience in developing complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of SOAP UI and web service testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic UNIX Commands and the ability to work with the Linux flavor.
• GIT commands and their usage.
• Experience with at least one of the following technologies: Cucumber, Appium, Selenium, XCode UI Automation, Espresso, (mobile testing tools and frameworks).
• Experience with basic UNIX commands and working knowledge of LINUX flavor.
• Hands-on experience with tools like SOAP UI, REST API.
• Possess working knowledge of Bitbucket etc. (Anything apart from Bitbucket is good to have).
• Keen focus on quality output in software development in the user acceptance stage.
