• Oversee and support finance processes for the Division’s foreign operations.
• Perform financial analyses and coordinate valuation exercises.
• Evaluate projects and support projects on areas including financial due diligence, tax structuring, contract reviews, funding plans and financial impact assessments.

Required Competencies

• Good Degree in Finance or Accounting, ACCA or equivalent and preferably Singapore CA.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably with big four audit experience. Commercial, investment deals and/or group consolidation experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

You will be part of the team which handles research grant-related financial matters for the Institute. Your responsibilities will include:

· Administer research grants and projects.

· Payment processing of vendors’ invoices to ensure purchases are in accordance with rules and regulations of funding agencies.

· Payment processing of transport and general staff claims.

· Responding timely to enquiries pertaining to research grant financial matters.

· Assisting in the design, implementation and review of financial processes, policies and guidelines for continuous improvements, through streamlining and automation.

Requirements

· A Polytechnic Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent.
