We are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join our team of finance professionals as a Head of Finance. You will be an integral part of the finance function, reporting directly to the Director.

Your responsibilities will encompass covering the full spectrum of accounts and finance functions, which includes:

>> Ensuring the seamless operation of accounting processes and overseeing cash flow management and forecasting.

>> Lead a team of finance staff in compliance to accounting standards, GST regulations and group internal control procedures, as well as other relevant rules and regulations.

>> Overseeing full spectrum of monthly and annual accounts closing and audit.

>> Beyond this, you will be pivotal in maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with Singapore tax regulations and financial reporting standards.

>> You are also responsible for interpreting financial reports, aiding in the annual budget process, and leading financial process enhancement initiatives.

>> Leading and reviewing suppliers and customers transaction, including payments and creditor reconciliations.

>> Liaise with various internal parties such as key account managers and external parties such as bankers, suppliers, sub-contractors and auditors.

>> Assist Managing Director in relation to work related field and any ad hoc assignments.

What We Look For:

>> A degree in Accountancy or a related discipline from a reputable university, accompanied by a CA or equivalent certification.

>> At least 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience in an FMCG industry.

>> Possess a strong understanding of compliance and financial reporting.

>> Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is required.

>> Comfortable with working at Penjuru Road, with 5.5 work week schedule.

>> Your success in this role hinges on your integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and analytical thinking.

>> An inherent knack for collaboration and a positive attitude in teamwork are key attributes.

6 months maternity cover

• Usage of Power BI to track KPIs and steer business decision-making through insight-based, forward-looking dashboards
• Harmonize data sources from multiple systems in various formats
• Identify and implement automation opportunities on existing processes
• Maintain effective data operations in Python / PowerBI for reporting and control processes
• Shape and steer internal procedures, setting the benchmark for best practices in data, reporting and analytics
• Identify potential business risk areas and propose data governance and process controls for robust error detection and prevention

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerQuery, experience with using Python in a data-driven environment
• Demonstrated experience in designing and building dashboards for a broad audience in Power BI
• Analyzing voluminous data, designing and optimizing data processing pipelines, and aggregating multiple data sources

Job Description

• Preparation of budgeting and forecasting related to P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
• Create PowerPoint presentations for these financial forecasts to communicate financial forecast and key insights to senior leaders and board members
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare detailed reports to identify trends, opportunities and detailed reports to influence critical business decisions

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimally 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, investment managements or FPA, individuals with knowledge and experience in developing financial models, forecasts will be beneficial
• Familiarity with use of ERP systems such as SAP S4 Hana other systems will be good
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
