• Provides meaningful and in-depth financial analysis on business performance, cost management and KPIs, including reporting to IAG Holding Company and subsidiary Boards and Income Insurance Group Finance as required
• Coordinate development of business planning, target setting and budgets of both IAG group, subsidiaries and IAG customers as required

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification or professional certification in accounting, business accounting or finance with at least 8 years of working experiences
• Experienced finance leaders with a proven track record of leadership in a shared services management, with a strong sense of accountability and able to work independently
• Candidates with experience in the insurance industry, financial advisors’ firms or a shared service environment are preferable
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to quickly establish credibility and rapport
• Experience in change management and process improvements

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close for GL, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and review monthly management reports, conduct financial analysis, and complete audit schedules.
• Provide guidance to AR/AP teams on appropriate GL and GST code classifications.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to manage audit and tax compliance requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, providing insights to the Group Accountant.
• Draft financial statements and manage XBRL filings, working closely with the company secretary.
• Post monthly journal entries for the general ledger and perform reconciliations of intercompany balances.

Job Summary:

• Daily Accounts Payable (AP) function which includes keying in of supplier invoices and preparation of payments to vendors
• Processing of monthly staff claims
• Ensure purchases and payments adhere to Company policy
• Monitor bank account to ensure sufficient cashflow for payments.
• Monthly calculation and recording of doctors’ fees and corresponding payments.
• Recording of accounting entries and adhere to monthly closing schedule
• Monthly supplier reconciliations
• Perform GST input tax reconciliation
• Perform fixed assets sightings and attend stock counts.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree / Professional Certification in Finance or Accountancy.
• ISCA / ACCA / CPA membership would be an advantage.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and is a problem-solver.
