Roles & Responsibilities

Remuneration:

• Salary: Up to $10,000, with Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• In this role, you will be overseeing the full spectrum of finance which includes the finance and accounting function and corporate governance. You will work with the management team and the other stakeholders on the expansion of the business. You will lead and manage the processes for budgeting, financial forecasting, consolidation and reporting. You will secure adequate funding for projects, look at refinancing and manage cashflow. You will manage the internal audit functions to ensure proper internal controls and corporate governance.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA)
• At least 7 years of post-graduation experience in relevant field with at least 5 years in supervisory capacity
• Track record in driving process improvements and team development
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
• A creative problem-solver, hands-on team player with ability to plan, prioritize and manage workload to deliver quality work timely
• Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to manage details but still summarize executive messages to drive actions and improvements
• People management experience
• A self-motivated individual capable of working with a low level of supervision, and ability to drive and implement financial modelling structures and processes
• Working knowledge of Microsoft BC Dynamics 365 is a must.

Job Scope

• Prepare monthly closing journal
• Prepare / Review monthly accounts reconciliations and schedules
• Review of sales ledger and purchase ledger reconciliation
• Review monthly inter-co billing and ensure consistent accounting treatment
• Review debtors aging reports and vendors statement reconciliation
• Prepare commissions for payroll submission
• Prepare payroll journals
• Review GST submission workings and GST reconciliation test
• Prepare tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provision
• Budget and forecasts - Provide assistance to reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts
• Other ad hoc duties assigned

Qualifications:

• Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar financial role.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial statement analysis.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis using spreadsheets and financial software (e.g., Excel, financial databases).
