Context:

• The Analyst will handle Application Support activities.
• Provide support for Olympic (Core Banking) and related interfaces and systems.

Job Description:

• Provide L1/L2 Application support to end-users

Job Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or related fields
• At least 7 years of experience in Banking industry as an IT Production L1/L2 suppor
• With good knowledge and experience in supporting banking products (Investment Instruments, Corporate Action, Loan, Deposits, Remittance, Foreign Exchange)
• With good knowledge on general ledger and general accounting schemes of financial products
• Knowledge and experience in supporting Olympic banking system is a strong plus
• With basic AS400 and Unix troubleshooting skills
• Strong knowledge on SQL queries, data analysis
• Familiar with Production support tools like ServiceNow and JIRA is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can interact with a diverse group.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing by collating investment entries, preparing accruals, and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare audit schedules and investment reconciliations, ensuring reconciling items are resolved promptly.
• Prepare investment reports for internal stakeholders and regulators (e.g., MAS Notices 122, 129, 133).
• Perform reasonableness checks on outsourced investment expenses.
• Assess asset impairments and document accounting for new investments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years in investment accounting.
• Strong knowledge of MAS 122, 129, 133, 307, and SFRS standards.
• Proficient in AS400, Oracle, Aladdin, and Bloomberg systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory).
  

• Offer quotes and address inquiries concerning motor insurance for clients and partners.
• Collaborate with insurers' underwriting, processing, service, and support teams for tasks like quotations, referrals, and appeals.
• Respond promptly to Salesforce leads and queries.

• At least 2 years of working experience

Performance Objective:

Monthly Duties / Reports:

Ad-hoc Duties:

• Prepare & update agent performance for contract renewal or appraisal.
• Send email to UOI/admin regarding withdrawal/additional sale for the team.
• Attending to miscellaneous requests (checking of Cx’s details/photocopy etc.)
