Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full spectrum of Administration Management of the Company under Asia Region which includes but not limited to strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting, timely preparation and submission of management and statutory accounts, year-end audits, corporate tax compliance and internal controls
• Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions
• Coach and review the work of Officers
• To support reports to HQ Tokyo in Japan on frequent basis

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics/Business Studies/Administration/Sociology or Equivalent
• Minimum 10 - 12 years of relevant working experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Fluency in spoken and written Japanese is necessary as the incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate with counterparts in Japan, Tokyo Head Office including monthly accounts progress reports
• Capable of translating reports from English to Japanese or vice versa
• Good supervisory and time management skills

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in business administration, accounting, economics or related field
• Considerable work experience in Controlling > 5 years (some international experience preferred)

• Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
• Independent worker and analytical thinker with an ability to conduct data analysis and resolve complex problems
• Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and team work spirit
• Must have strong and advanced MS Excel skills and well experienced with Microsoft suite of products

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst in the banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Conducting daily AML assessments and approval of KYC reviews for new and existing customers, at normal and enhanced due diligence level in line with AML policies and HO memoranda.
• Reviewer and Approver for updates to Customer Info in KYC System
• Interpreting and analysing KYC data to accurately risk access new and existing clients, making sound judgement calls in terms of escalation and risk mitigation.
