The Taskforce is co-led by WWF’s Forest Practice and Climate and Energy Practice to influence and promote best practices for carbon finance and markets around the world, and leverage credibly implemented carbon finance to protect and enhance WWF priority landscapes, seascapes and watersheds. The Taskforce leads on WWF’s positions on carbon finance and markets, including a blueprint for corporate action on climate and natureand guidance for high-quality climate investments for climate, nature and people. We are looking for a leader to help galvanize WWF’s existing work on carbon finance, further increase our internal capacity and ramp up our influence externally.

Four task teams enable the work of the Taskforce - a Demand Task Team, a Policy Task Team, a Supply Task team and an Expertise Hub. The Global Lead, Carbon Finance and Markets Taskforce is accountable to the Carbon Markets and Finance Core Team, supported by an Advisory Group.
