Fixed Assets/ Leases
• Prepare all statutory reporting on Fixed Assets and Leases
• Prepare lease amortisation schedule on new leases for posting
• Prepare asset tags for newly purchase assets
• Review fixed asset disposal forms submitted by divisions
• Review monthly fixed assets and leases schedules
• Perform monthly Fixed Asset Reconciliation and follow through on the discrepancies
• Review, standardise and streamline Fixed Asset processes to enhance efficiency
• Coordinate yearly fixed asset sighting and ensure all assets are accounted
• Ad-hoc tasks or any other matters
Financial Management and Reporting
• Ensure compliance and timely completion in all areas of financial and management accounting activities
• Liaise and follow up with divisions on the transactions to be completed for month end accounts closing and financial year end closing
• Co-ordinate on month end accounts closing with divisions and Finance Shared Service Center
• Work closely with Finance Shared Service and liaise on all General ledger Accounts and relating matters
• Review and prepare monthly management accounts, monthly executive summary for the accounts
• Assist in preparation and submission of periodic and ad-hoc reports timely
• Coordinate and prepare annual budgets and financial related projects
• Assist and prepare financial year-end audit, audit schedules for external audit and internal audit related requirements
• Support on analysis and strategic finance matters, ad-hoc tasks and projects
• Assist in Finance projects, ad-hoc tasks or any other matters
Work Productivity and compliance
• Support improvements on work efficiency, productivity and accuracy on its scope of work and/ or inter-related work
• Establish and ensure compliance with company financial policies
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks or any other matters
Requirements
• Degree in business or accountancy or equivalent
• Prior experience in handling GL of large organization
• Good knowledge and understanding of financial reporting systems and good grasps of process flow
• Experience in using SAP is advantageous
• Good knowledge of excel
• Preferably more than 5 years relevant work experience
• Good audit experience is advantageous (statutory/ internal)
• A good team player and establish good professional working relationships with stakeholders
