Job Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible to:

• Collaborating with finance team and project team on project priorities, scope, requirements, and delivery plans.
• Collect and analyse user requirements and liaise with system consultant.
• Good understanding of organization cost center structure for management reporting purposes.
• Work with finance teams to design, test and develop localization and customization of new accounting system.
• Conduct testing on accounting system to ensure the quality of deliverables before handing over to users.
• Testing and review reports generated from accounting system to ensure the quality and accuracy of the reports.
• Investigate all reported problems/errors and initiate amendments and testing so that the new system can operate correctly & efficiently.
• Assist and perform any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years relevant working experiences with financial reporting project or accounting system migration
• Advanced Microsoft excel skills

• Prior exposure / experience with SUN accounting system and Kingdee (preferrable)

Job Description:

• Act as a SME in the Consumer Banking Branch/Assisted channel domain with sufficient knowledge to interact, solicit requirements, and advise senior-level business users

• Work closely with business users and project team members on solutioning/project initiation, implementation, and post-implementation support

• Lead solutioning effort and help develop compelling and innovative solutions while complying with existing standards, guidelines, and processes

• Perform Business Analysis and lead the requirements gathering with business users. Propose alternate solutions to meet or improve the desired objectives based on best practices and industry solutions and influence the desired outcomes

• Verify that the user requirements are achievable and support business users during UAT and post-implementation phases.

• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues. Work with Solution Architects, Systems Analysts, and Developers to produce high quality deliverables

Requirement

• Relevant business analysis expertise in branch and branch services, including systems such as Teller systems

• Experience in defining business analysis and, solution standards and processes.

• Strong analytical skills with ability to assimilate information quickly and gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required.

• Strong team player and good interpersonal skills

• Well-versed in industry developments and trends in the relevant functional domain

• Experience in driving digital initiatives with business and Operations will be an advantage

• Ability to adapt to different software development methodologies, e.g. Agile and Waterfall projects

1. Responsible for full set of accounts, including timely submission of management accounts.

2. Prepare financial reports including schedules and cash flow to support key business decision making.

3. Partner internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate forecasts and budgets.

4. Prepare audit and tax schedules and liaise with auditor and tax agent for statutory reporting.

5. Manage intercompany reconciliation.

6. Quarterly submission of GST and other statutory reporting as required.

7. Support system implementation / improvements.

8. Support external and internal audits.

9. Preparation of financial statement for 2 entities.

10. Responsible for submission of financial reporting to regional HQ and HQ.

11. Other ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in Big Four global accounting firms will be preferred
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamic BC is added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Good understanding of the FRS and relevant Accounting Standards, GST and local tax.
• Ability to communicate, present and influence internal and external stakeholder.
• Adopts an open mindset to drive continuous improvement.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Candidates who has experience working in the construction industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Play a key role in formulating and implementing accounting policies and procedures in accordance with CAS (Charity Accounting Standards) and relevant statutory requirements.
• Examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Brief management on the monthly financial statements.
• Present the Quarterly Financial Statements and Annual Budget to the board.
• Check and review all payments.
• Review and Approve all journals.
• Involved in grants and other donation applications.
• Proficient in Goods & Services Tax Act.

Budgeting

• Prepare budgets and cash flow projections and analyse the variances.
• Budget for capital expenditure.

Organisational Resource Management

• Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the property's description, value, and location.
• Check on the inventory of donation-in-kinds.

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with outsourced vendors to ensure timely and accurate financial records for Board presentations.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure the Statutory Accounts are presented in a true and fair view.
• Liaise with bankers.

Others

• Any other related duties in New Hope CS as assigned by Reporting Officer.
