OPERATIONAL:

• Manage daily transaction posting (AR/AP/Others) and ensure accuracy in finance operations.
• Oversee fixed asset management in SAP, including asset tagging and collaborate with procurement on CAPEX purchasing.
• Maintain monthly accounting schedules for current assets and liabilities, ensuring accuracy.
• Drive corrective actions with Buyer and Planner on GRIR (PO/Invoice matching) reconciliation issues.
• Manage accounts payables and ensure AP days meet KPIs.
• Manage accounts receivables and ensure AR days meet KPIs.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure inventory days meet KPIs.
• Ensure accuracy in transaction posting, including monthly bank reconciliation.
• Maintain monthly schedules.
• Manage CAPEX, including maintaining WBS and asset tagging.
• Assist in year-end stock take exercise.

REPORTING:

• Ensure all transactions are posted within the month (including revenue recognition and anticipated expenses) for reporting.
• Ensure all departments close month-end on time.

GROUP COMPLIANCE:

• Ensure transactions comply with company accounting policies.
• Consult with the group on policy changes and communicate/interpret changes to plant management.
• Ensure compliance and maintain internal controls template.

TAX:

• Prepare quarterly GST returns and submission.

AUDIT:

• Assist in any ad-hoc finance-related tasks.

AP (Accounts Payable):

• Verify, process, and book invoices with appropriate documentation in AP Automation/SAP.
• Prepare vendor payments via SAP payment proposal and banking portals.
• Record outgoing payments in SAP.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of AP aging reports with vendors and distributors.
• Maintain and set up vendor master data in SAP.
• Generate monthly AP aging reports.
• Verify and record staff claims.
• Conduct monthly AP intercompany confirmations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for monthly reconciliation and settlement of intercompany transactions.
• Assist with Coupa/Concur inquiries.

AR (Accounts Receivable):

• Prepare and send invoices and statements of account to customers.
• Record and reconcile customer payments for various revenue sources.
• Maintain and set up customer master data in SAP.
• Produce monthly AR aging report.
• Record all incoming receipts in SAP.
• Conduct monthly AR intercompany confirmations.

GL (General Ledger):

• Prepare and park monthly journal entries in SAP.
• Coordinate with various departments on accruals for revenue, cost, and expenses.

Ad Hoc:

• Assist in projects and system enhancements.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the line manager.
