• Able to work 5.5 days work week (Sundays and PH: 10am to 2pm)

1.Participate in new product development process, source new product’s supplier and price.
2. Maximize sourcing capability by conducting continuous research in the material origin, production advantage and any other factors that may lead to locate potential suppliers.
3. Ensure supply base optimization and cost competitiveness, quality and service by sourcing and evaluating new suppliers of existing products
4. Sourcing machines and equipment to fulfil production plant’s needs.
5. Initiate continuous improvement of efficiency of sourcing process.
6. Prepare and submit department reports timely and accurately
7. Any ad-hoc duties assigned

Education Required:
▪Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline

Experience Required:
▪ At least 2 years of experience of sourcing experience, preferably in construction / engineering industry

We are representing our client, an international school based in Singapore to look for an experienced HR professional to complement the existing team. The HR Executive will be responsible for all aspects of leave processing, staff health insurance, support staff recruiting and onboarding and supply faculty.

They ensure that all aspects of the applications to the Ministry of Manpower are running smoothly and efficiently. This role will manage the relationships with our staff and external providers. A successful candidate will be an experienced team player who brings enthusiasm and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage recruitment activities including, ensuring job descriptions are kept upto-date, job posting on the school website and job websites, coordinating the shortlisting of applicants, scheduling interviews and ensuring reference checks are completed.
• Supporting day-to-day administration of Supply Teachers and staff.
• Attend and answer regular recruitment and HR-related enquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
• Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and providing assistance.
• Coordinate the new staff arrival and onboarding process which includes the organisation of IT equipment,, email account provisioning and staff access cards as well as ensuring all relevant agreements and policies are reviewed and signed.
• Processing leave and attendance records for all staff.
• Register and ensure that all staff and contractual dependents (where applicable) are covered by the School’s medical insurance and that information surrounding the School’s medical insurance cover is communicated clearly when necessary.
• Support and assist on the Committee of Private Education (CPE) / EduTrust license process.
• Act in accordance with relevant legislation in Singapore, as well as UK guidelines, particularly with regards to educational provision, health and safety initiatives and child safeguarding and ensure that all students and staff maintain these standards.
• Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and any other HR tasks assigned by the team lead.
• Abide by the school safeguarding policy and keep abreast of any changes.

Requirements

• Diploma and above in Human Resource Management
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a school or other education environment
• Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Adaptable to changes and willing to multitask
• Ability to deal with confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
• Prior work experience in an international school environment will be preferred though not essential
