This position reports to the Finance Manager & interfaces with respective portfolio ICs. The Finance Executive is to work closely and assist the Finance Manager in managing the company's finance reporting & activities. The Finance Executive is mainly involved & assisting in finance-related activities such as billing, payment, statutory reporting i.e. GST & Tax, and monthly account closing.

This is a collaborative position so excellent teamwork and communication skills are vital; you should be comfortable communicating with all stakeholders - partners, investors, teammates or external parties etc.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Finance Manager in producing financial reports.
• Accounts Payable (AP) functions including ensure timely processing of payment and verifying suppliers' statements of account.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) functions including invoice processing and following up on overdue invoices, issuing monthly statement of account to customers.
• Compile projects’ financial documents for processing.
• Other ad-hoc finance assignments by Finance Manager.

Financial Management and Reporting:

Oversee all aspects of the company's accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.

Job Summary:

Execute payment of overseas allowances and claims processing by ensuring that transactions are processed promptly and accurately in accordance to Service Level Agreements with the customers and Policies/Guidelines. Ensure accurate payment and updating for all transactions as well as timely recovery of overpayment, of any.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Assess, compute and approve payment of overseas allowances and claims in system promptly and accurately, according to policies and guidelines.
• Monitor outstanding debts arising from overpayment of allowances/claims and manage debt recovery process.
• Conduct sampling checks on payment cases and follow up to rectify payment errors, if any.
• Handle customer's queries on policies, procedures and systems.
• Prepare management reports for review by Supervisor/Officer in Charge.
• Safekeeping financial documents & safeguard financial information of customers.

• 2 year contract (renewable based on performance and headcount needs)

You will be responsible for the Finance and Accounting function of Autism Association Singapore in the following areas:

· Handling of Accounts Receivable process including billing and collection

· Handle and process Purchase Requisitions – include match with vendor invoices, monitor and clear outstanding PR that is more than 3 months old

· Prepare journal vouchers and post in accounting system (SAP)

· Donation – managing donation in DMS for Finance & IRAS submission

· Handle Fixed Assets

· Handle Petty Cash and Bank Payment

Qualifications and Requirements
