The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hair salon, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for clients and staff. Primary Function:

The individual will act as a bridge and force multiplier amongst Asia country product portfolio marketers, Corporate Portfolio Marketing and HQ Multiport/Single port BU (business unit) product management teams for management and marketing of systems, instruments, and accessories within Multi Port and Single Port robotic platforms. This role will have 30% upstream (working with BU Product Management and Corporate Portfolio Marketing) and 70% downstream (working with local markets’ Product Marketing teams, Asia Marketing Operations and Asia Commercial Operations) responsibilities. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support creation and alignment of product and marketing visions with sales and marketing stakeholders to launch advanced technology technologies and accelerate their adoption.
• Collaborate with peers in Asia regional product, clinical, hospital and digital product portfolio leaders to ensure coherent product visions and marketing strategies/tactics for the Asian countries

• Source for opportunities for external bookings of shared facilities (e.g. concerts, workshops, conferences, events) and facilitate bookings of both schools and external parties;
• Provide logistic support for external events and programmes;

• Engage in various C&B surveys and relevant projects to ensure that Tidewater is at the forefront of desired salary position through C&B survey participation, update of salary structures, system data, provision of compensation data and salary position analysis.

Operations

• Responsible to work with payroll and HR shared services team to ensure employees life cycle managed end to end
• Prepare and submit payroll instructions for processing as required
• Manage and administer leave management system for all shore-based employees

Training

• Manage and administer training / compliance programmes for all shore-based employees
• Ensure mandatory training programmes for shore-based employees are completed on a timely basis

Office Administration

• Design and implement administrative procedures and policies by monitoring relevant office expenditure.
• Maintain and update office environment and supplies.
• Verify accuracy of supplier invoices and their payment in accordance to agreed terms.
• Review, negotiate and maintain necessary vendor contracts for office maintenance.
• Establish mobile phone issuance procedure, records and inventory.
• Plan and implement office layouts, and equipment procurement including organising and coordinating with vendors/contractors on major office repairs, renovation and maintenance.
• Managing and maintaining records on office/building lease agreement.
• Maintain office entry system for the Singapore office and prepare evacuation plan when necessary.
• Manage Corporate Travel Agent(s) and administer Business Travel Policy for shore-based employees
• Manage the administrative team and provide supervision in their performance.
• Conduct internal audits for shore-based functions and processes

Team Management

• Plan staffing levels and work with Heads of Departments to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ the right people within budgetary guidelines. Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
• Consciously create an engaging workplace culture that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization. Lead employees using a performance management and development process including goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
• Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility, drive accountability and provide regular feedback for continuous improvement.

People Management

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / LICENSES

Education or equivalent experience:

• Strong practical experience in HR process and ability to translate business needs to solutions
• Resourceful and self-driven with a high degree of professional integrity
• Meticulous and demonstrable experience with HR metrics
• Good general knowledge of labour legislations and HR best practices
• Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Degree in a related discipline, HR preferred.
• At least 3 years of management experience or business partnering within the shipping industry is preferred
• Excellent project management and collaboration skills

As a senior customer success manager your role is to offer excellent partnership experience to Wise Platform enterprise level clients. You will be an operational owner of the portfolio of partners like Nubank, N26, Google Pay, etc. 

During your day-to-day you're expected to analyze the quality of partnerships from an operational standpoint, identify opportunities to automate and scale operational processes for our partners and for the internal teams who service our enterprise clients as well as deal with partner demands towards Wise operational processes.  

This is how you will maximize the value partners receive from using Wise solution by reducing operational friction and defect. 

You will be working closely with the Account Management team and Wise operational teams, which are global. You will also work with other functions, including product management, tech, legal, compliance, implementation and business development.
 

This role will give you the opportunity to:

• Own and nurture operational relationships with partners and unblock the growth opportunities. This means being partners’ point of operational contact (escalations, operational friction patterns), managing stakeholders and conducting business review meetings, providing solutions to partners looking to improve the operational state and supporting them through the execution. • Own operational success plans with partners to maximize the value partners get from Wise. This means looking into the data (on partner-level, regional and global), working closely with servicing teams to understand what are the key friction points caused by platform partnerships and how we can eliminate/ reduce these gaps by negotiating changes with partners, product, engineers and other stakeholders on a regional or global level. Take the lead on driving the cross-team projects implementing these changes. 

• Agree with partners on implementing the endpoints & webhooks. This means exploring what endpoints & webhooks exist and can be helpful and what should be created to help automate internal & partner’s support operational teams by sending the data via API to our partner. Negotiate such changes with a partner, as they need to do tech work on their end as well. 

• Analyze the quality of support we provide to our partners and their customers. This means understanding how well our responses solve the cases raised, what we can do to improve the resolution rate and reduce the amount of contacts by working with the internal teams for your partner and for the whole region in particular. Collecting feedback from assigned partnerships to identify key improvement areas.

You’ll be part of a commercially-minded Global Tax team in Finance, helping to ensure our tax affairs are efficient, transparently compliant and slick so that our mission is sustainable. 

Your mission

• Manage the outsourced preparation of APAC corporate tax and withholding tax computations (e.g. Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Philippines and Thailand). This includes adhering to controls, managing risks and identifying ways to automate and streamline manual tasks using existing systems or emerging technologies. 
• Work closely with Product and Banking teams on expansion of new products and licence applications to ensure tax requirements are met.
• Assist with the preparation of IFRS half year and year-end tax reporting and tax provisions for local statutory accounts and group reporting with the help of advisors where necessary. 
• Work closely with financial controllers, accounting, and finance system teams for sources of data and information, including directly extracting information from our ERP system.
• Support the on ad hoc research and projects, including expansion into new countries and liaising with external advisors to ensure tax requirements are met.
• Engage in team-wide initiatives including budgeting, forecasting, planning, risks and controls. It is important to be interested in and engaged in all tax initiatives and to work closely with all members of the tax team.
