About the Role

The Portfolio Finance Manager plays a key role in finance related matters for PIDG and InfraCo companies in Asia, including its subsidiaries and joint ventures. Accounting & Tax:

• Annual Audit Review – Manage annual audit process within PIDG and InfraCo Asia and liaise with external auditors. Monitor financial compliance by projects and support local project finance team on the coordinating/performing of potential audits/internal reviews and other financial matters as required.
• Committee Support – Support the Head of Finance/Finance Manager in reporting to the Audit / Investment Committee and Risk Management Committee or Board, including organizing meetings, preparing papers and minutes.
• Policy development – Support the implementation and documentation of internal controls and procedures for PIDG and InfraCo Asia as required.
• Internal Controls –Perform in-country on-site or off-site/desktop internal control reviews, including documentation of procedures, to make sure the control process is compliant with company and shareholders requirements, and work with business team/project company teams to ensure effective controls are implemented, including managing PIDG and InfraCo Asia’s banking activities.

Payments:

• Payments – Prepare, review and process company payments and expense claims in compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage payments to consultant/vendors in accordance with relevant consultancy services agreements.
• Banking – Support banking related matters for PIDG and InfraCo Asia e.g. opening of bank accounts, changes in bank signatories and approvers or KYC documentation of PIDG and InfraCo Asia entities when required.

Qualifications and education requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field from a reputable university/credible organization.

Skills and Experience

• At least 8 years of hands-on work experience in relevant finance role (preferably with around 3-4 years in a Big Four accounting firm) in a dynamic and fast paced multinational environment with exposure in the Asia region essential.
• Prior exposure in a finance business partner or advisory role for corporate related investment projects either in a leading or review role e.g. financial and tax due diligence and financial modelling will be highly advantageous.

Treasury, Corporate & Finance Manager

Job Overview:

• Position reports to the Financial Controller;
• Responsible for managing day-to-day activities in treasury and corporate functions to meet the financial and regulatory obligations of the group;
• Assist the Group in audit and accounts functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Treasury

• To perform a broad range of treasury functions which includes cash management; bank loan management including rollovers, drawdown and compliance;
• To manage intercompany loans;
• To maintain and update all relevant banking records which include maintaining bank account Master Database, updating of consolidated report of banking facilities / charges and utilization;
• In charge of opening and maintenance of bank accounts, internet banking and application of bank facilities;
• To support business stakeholders in FX and trade financing matters;
• To identify business and market opportunities and work closely with banks for new funding scheme and evaluate current scheme for improvement;
• To coordinate with internal stakeholders on Tax compliance requests such as FATCA;
• To prepare weekly cash flow consolidation, consisting of short-and medium-term requirements.

Corporate

• To assist in the preparation of directors’ and shareholders’ resolutions;
• To assist in ensuring filing compliance in accordance with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.

Accounting and Audit

• To support audit related matters including preparation of bank and directors’ confirmation;
• To assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards and group guidelines;
• To assist in the review of payments and receipts.

Others

• Establish, develop, and maintain relationship with key internal and external stakeholders by providing high level support and engagement and maintain consistent strong operational relationships;
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Recognized degree in accountancy, ACCA, CA or equivalent;
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in similar role;
• Demonstrate a robust comprehension of cash management, investment strategies, and financial instruments;
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees day-to-day finance operation for EnGro and investment entities (which includes review and approve journal vouchers, balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliation, GST submission and unit costing analysis done by respective accountants);
• Reconciliation of accounts with China Representative Office;
• Monthly group consolidation of accounts;
• Annual FS drafting & Annual Report info compilation for EnGro Group;
• Half-yearly results announcement drafting, SGX announcements drafting, compliance checklist preparation & release;
• Quarterly BoardPack presentation slides preparation; (1st & 3rd quarters);
• Liaise with China entities for e-payment arrangement and related matters;
• Annual AGM organization;

• Optimize the group structure for maximum effectiveness - which includes identifying the entities no longer in use and to be strike-off;
• Liaise with Sales Team and lawyer on all credit control related matters (EnGro), e.g. long outstanding issues, legal action, legal advice, issuing internal demand letter, following up on legal proceedings, etc;
• Attend fortnightly credit control meeting (EnGro) with sales team and provide recommendation/action to be taken for overdue limit and term;
• Daily credit control monitoring for EnGro, and provide recommendation/action to be taken for overdue limit and term;
• Review new/annual credit review application (EnGro), provide recommendation based on financial analysis and market/SGX/media information;
• Ensure compliance with latest financial reporting standards and group accounting policies;
• Review of tax computation for EnGro and investment entities;
• Incentives scheme computation;
• Costing simulation for cement supply tender;
• Assist in preparing budget costing for new projects;
• In-charge of corporate secretarial matters and annual external audit and ad-hoc finance matters;
• Liaise with internal auditor to establish, review and improve accounting procedures and internal control system;
• Liaise with external auditor on group audit matters;
• Any other ad-hoc matters assign by GFC and feasibility studies.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor degree in accountancy /ACCA
• Min 6 years' experience
• Strong knowledge of SFRS(I)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Dynamics Business Central ERP is a plus

Reporting to the CEO, and working closely with all the Business Units, you are the financial backbone of the organisation, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will lead the finance team to ensure smooth accounting processes and internal controls. Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor financial budgets
• Business Planning: Develop business plan and support informed decision-making.

Pre-requisites:
