• Lead the treasury function for the company, including cash and liquidity management, funding management for existing and new initiatives, foreign currency and interest rate management, treasury operations, etc
• Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company to establish banking relationships, obtain banking facilities, and negotiate bank rates for CMS and Trade Finance-related services for the Company.

Internal Control:

• Supervise all audit and internal control processes.
• Establish and implement accounting procedures and policies by generally accepted accounting principles that meet local regulatory compliance requirements.
• Continuous process improvement to ensure financial figures are correctly recorded and internal control is in place.
• Evaluate current practices and policies within the finance department and strive to drive continuous improvement.
• Manages audits of the business by working closely with internal and external auditors to guarantee accuracy in reporting.
• Work with various functional leaders/stakeholders to ensure internal controls are adequately put in place/designed and monitored.

Other Functions:

• Training, mentoring and development of staff
• Serves as a business partner to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
• Make recommendations on both strategy and operations.
• Managing and overseeing the company’s accounting systems
• Participate in various business improvement/ ad-hoc projects as assigned by Director
• Approve Accounts Payable according to the matrix of approval.
• Support new initiatives for continuous improvement in financial and management accounting and systems to improve operating cost efficiencies

Job Info:

• Salary: Basic up to $3500 + AWS + VB
• Working Hour: Monday - Friday (7.50am - 4.55pm)
• Location: Tuas (Company transport pick up island wide at designated point)

Job Scope:

• Supervise and streamline day-to-day warehouse activities
• Lead import/export logistics operations to maintain an efficient flow of goods
• Examine and present reports on logistics expenditures and forwarder services to enhance transportation efficiency
• Assist in the annual selection of forwarders and contribute to the creation of budget and forecast data
• Offer operational assistance, training, and direction to team members
• Champion ongoing improvement initiatives
• Guarantee adherence to various corporate policies and regulatory requirements
