Job Purpose

Accounts Receivable

• Support the AR function and activities including invoicing receipting and refunds ensuring alignment with the Group’s internal policies and procedures

As a Customer Service Supervisor at ULC, you will oversee our customer service team and report directly to the Operations / Centre Manager. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations, delivering exceptional service to our students and educators, and upholding our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor the customer service team, ensuring adherence to service standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with teachers and the sales team to optimize customer experiences and achieve sales targets.
• Manage student accounts, including credits, packages, and progress tracking.
• Represent ULC professionally in all customer interactions, embodying our values and mission.
• Coordinate scheduling of private lessons, handling bookings, rescheduling, and instructor assignments.
• Facilitate communication among students, parents, educators, and sales team via WhatsApp groups.
• Generate monthly reports on credit usage and identify opportunities for renewal and retention.
• Implement and maintain efficient workflows and systems to streamline customer service operations.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations promptly and effectively.
• Stay updated on industry trends and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Undertake such other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the education or language training sector. Leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Self-motivated and dedicated, with a passion for enhancing customer experiences and achieving results.
• Collaborative mindset, able to work well within a team and across departments.
• Proficiency in English, with additional language skills considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, such as HubSpot, is preferred
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Job Description:

1. Ensure that food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.

2. Storing and distributing ingredients.

3. Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking of foods.

6. Ensure the procedures for supplies, equipment, and work areas are in compliance with safety standards and SOP.

Job Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of experience in F&B (Kitchen) industry, experience in Japanese restaurants is a bonus.

2. Mature and positive attitude.

3. Basic Food Hygiene Certification is a must.

4. Able to commit on weekends and public holiday.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full set of accounts for two (2) outlets. Moving forward, any expansion of more outlets will be under your purview as well. Appropriate manpower resources proportional to workload will be allocated accordingly as well.
• Support overall accounting functions which include preparation of finance and management reports, and costing.
• Reports, fixed assets register, bank/account payable/ accounts receivable/inventory reconciliations, stock and inventory recording and taxation matters.
• Manage all local regulatory and taxation compliance matters including tax computations, tax return submission, and tax payments/refunds, including GST and other tax matters.
• Responsible for payroll processing including liaising with payroll providers, preparing payroll, provision preparation for salary and benefit incentives, employee tax returns and HR filing systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements such as MOM, CPF, IRAS AND ACRA.
• Support in HR functions including but not limited to processing payroll, managing employee leaves, medical and claim matters work pass applications.
• IT integration between restaurants, warehousing and offices.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the director.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, ACCA or Professional Qualification in Accountancy.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience
• Team player who is proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Able to manage, guide and lead peers
• Self-starting, able to work independently and also work collaboratively as part of a team
• Possesses good oral and written communication skills
• Strong technical accounting background
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Business Central
• Knowledge of internal controls and statutory regulations
