About the job Finance Manager (Manufacturing)

• Report directly to CFO
• Supervise accounting operations to guarantee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with internal management reporting and regulatory requirements;
• In charge of reviewing the deferred tax projections and provisions, as well as the annual tax computations and queries.
• Verify that the business complies with the rules and reporting obligations regarding the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
• Encourage timely submissions and a follow-up plan to reduce risks and boost efficiency and cash return on investment.
• Under the FP&A business cycle, this involves giving current analysis of key performance indicators for revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Delivering thorough analysis of business prospects, business planning, and strategic planning for investments and/or deployment to the regional and national heads as strategic support.
• Establish and uphold a basic monthly review process with the country's and regional management, along with his team.
• This process should involve questioning assumptions to help the team make decisions and should include publishing monthly reports to important stakeholders.

Requirements

• A professional certification (Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant) or an accounting diploma or degree is required.
• A minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing MNCs in accounting, finance, and treasury roles
• Expertise in using SAP and ERP systems
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities
• The capacity and willingness to work in a matrix organization and lead a focused team

Job Descriptions:

• Manage a small team to ensure smooth month end close with timely and accurate submission including areas covering General accounting, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury while partnering with various stakeholders to achieve goals. This includes review of journal entries, schedules and reconciliations, and providing guidance and advice on more complex issues regarding actual results.
• Ensure tax compliance, which includes reviewing of GST, withholding tax and corporate tax. legal results budget and forecasts
• Collaborate with cross functional teams. Recommend and lead projects to execute tactical projects and/or improvement initiatives within scope of project deliverables.
• Ensure internal and statutory compliance (e.g., SOX, internal controls, statutory audit, quarterly reporting such as Controller checklist and 10-K report, and corporate secretarial matters)
• Planning and analysis work, involving analyzing ROI (Return on Investment) of expenditures for major Capital projects as well as reviewing balance sheet and legal tax budget and forecasts.

• Supervise and lead the finance team and be in-charge of the financial reports of the Group
• Handle and manage all accounting, financing, credit control, audit, taxation and corporate secretarial matters of the Group, including monitoring the cash flow and analyzing the earnings, expenses, inventories costing and overall financial position of the Group
• Directly assist the management on all strategic and tactical matters relating to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs and securing of new funding
• Act as the spoke person for the organization in relation to matters within your scope of duties, as may be required by the Company
• In addition, you shall be responsible for the performing the duties and discharging the responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned to you by the Company

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience in accounting and financial analysis
• Preferably with 2-3 years of audit experience
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Standards
• Driven, analytical, hands-on, detailed oriented and able to operate under pressure
• Systems knowledge of SAP, Odoo and Quickbooks is an advantage
• Strong in Microsoft Excel
