The Financial Services Strategy & Operations team enables organisations in the Financial Services industry (banks, asset managers, insurers, etc) to design and execute strategies to grow, become more productive, modernize their organisation / technology, and position themselves for the future. About the Role

As a FS Technology Manager, you will lead on-the-grounds delivery of engagements whilst helping to build the FS S&O practice as part of the broader team. From a delivery perspective, you will lead client interactions and delivery of work alongside leaders and junior teammates for general IT strategy and digital/technology transformation projects in the FS industry. You will have responsibility for execution of client delivery through identifying client needs, approaches to problems, defining work plans, and management of work. Working with your leaders, you will help to activate the best of the PwC network to ensure that we are leveraging our capabilities whilst bringing your perspective.

As a Manager, you will be a role model for our junior team members, both in terms of development of core competencies and unlocking leadership potential.
From a practice development perspective, you will help to build and sharpen our offerings to clients. You will contribute to thought leadership, encompassing both generation of external publications and internal innovation of our client offerings. Using your business acumen and your experience in Financial Services,
you will have your client’s futures in mind by pre-empting their problems and showing them how we can
help.

About you

You are likely to be a Financial Services Technology professional with the following key attributes:

• 5-8 years experience in a management or technology consultancy and/or industry
• Experience in aligning business and technology strategies, designing innovative technology solutions to solve complex business problems, preferably in FS industry
• Good understanding of emerging digital and technology topics and trends with broad digital/technology skills and knowledge to lead work within one of the following architecture domains of enterprise, applications, data, or infrastructure including cloud
• Understanding of architecture design principles and experience in architecting modern financial services digital solutions
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability and conceptual thinking, comfortable in a hypothesis-based environment and ability to frame strategic challenges from a technologist perspective
• Strong personal presence, combined with compelling and professional presentation and communication skills
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferably in an IT/Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
• Agile, Scrum, AWS / Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps or equivalent certifications will be advantageous
• Flexibility to travel within SEA region

• Meeting MAS-FAA regulations, you should be at least of 21 years of age to quality as a financial planner

About you

• 12+ years professional experience in anti-money laundering (AML), Know-Your-Client (KYC), Sanctions and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT), external investigative reporting, or equivalent
• Excellent understanding of financial regulatory environment and risk implications
• Solid understanding of the sanction programs administered by OFAC, the EU, UK and UN
• Excellent familiarity with transactions monitoring and sanctions screening tools as well as emerging FinCrime technologies.
• Previous team management experience required.
• Highly flexible and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask to meet constant business demands and priorities.
