You will be working together with the senior associates, managers and partners to plan, lead and execute engagements for financial institutions, regulatory conduct, financial crime and compliance for Banks, Capital Market Services Licensees and other financial institutions. You will perform regulatory related fieldwork and review of documentation to provide quality control over regulatory compliance processes. You will also make recommendations to improve policies, procedures and processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline

• Prior experience in working within regulatory compliance function, especially in banks, capital market services licensees or related professional firms / strong knowledge in banking operations and banking products and services will be an advantage

• Support and co-ordinate with various stakeholders to prepare data/report for service repair cost forecasting/budgeting activities for analysis on a timely basis
• Participate/support projects under strict timelines
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business/Statistics/Mathematics/Accounting/Finance/Computing
• Minimum 1 year’s work experience with statistical reporting and data analytical skill
• Knowledge/experience in Microsoft Excel macros, Forecasting/ Planning tool, Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables lookup
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy
• Possess a demonstrated sense of urgency with the ability to perform well under pressure
• Possess good communication with different stakeholders
• Pro-active team player who is able to perform tasks that requires meticulous attention to detail

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Head of Risk Management in the direct oversight of the Company’s credit portfolio, market risk & liquidity risk management (mainly Interest Rate Risk via Asset & Liability Management). This would include the implementation of the credit, market and liquidity risk framework, policies and procedures.
• Providing accurate and appropriate risk information and opinion for Asset and Liability Management Committee (“ALCO”) and credit portfolio reports for (Credit Portfolio Committee (“CPC”).
• Performing in-depth, ad-hoc analysis and formulating an opinion and escalation to Senior Management as needed.
• Provide support for regulatory requests eg. Provision of regulatory reports and analysis.
• Effective collaboration with Finance, Marketing and Loan Admin Departments for credit, market and liquidity risk related matters.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or quantitative specialization
• With 1 - 3 years’ experience in risk management or relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills
