About the Role
To support the growth strategy of Everest International, we are expanding our Finance team in Singapore with this newly created role.
The primary responsibilities of this role are to support the Finance Operations team, and to manage all accounts payable and accounts receivables tasks. This role will also give you the opportunity to work closely with other departments and functions as well as regional colleagues to support local and regional transformation projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Invoice Processing – Receive, verify, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers. Ensure all invoices are properly supported and accurately booked to the ledger on a timely basis.
- Expense Reimbursement – Process and review employee reimbursement to ensure it complies with company policies. Expense should be recorded promptly with precision.
- Payment processing – Prepare and execute payment run in SUNS. Ensure all payments are made within agreed terms and compliance with company policies.
Payments includes but are not limited to invoice, staff reimbursement, reinsurance, return premium, broker brokerage, intercompany and interbank transfer.
- Month End Closing – Assist with month end and year end closing procedures. Which includes preparing accruals, journal entries and audit schedules.
- Prepare intercompany invoices on a quarterly basis, validating expenses before sending to our affiliates.
- Record incoming receipt (UA)
- Maintain and monitor listing of unallocated receipts
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Undertakes any other finance duties as may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Abilities
- Experience in accounts payable/accounts receivables preferred
- Proficiency in ERP Oracle a plus
Professional Qualifications
- Diploma and above preferred
