The APAC Region is at the forefront of building a world class approach to Working Capital management across Clyde & Co. This includes automation of repetitive tasks, addressing the root causes of billing and payment delays and forming strategic partnerships with our key clients and service providers. We currently have one vacancy for a Credit Controller who is keen to join, and grow within, a high performing team. This role is within in a team that collectively supports Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Thailand. . As a result we are open to candidates from all of these locations. Key Responsibilities

This role reports to the Working Capital Manager, APAC Region. Routine responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• accurate and timely allocation of receipts, clearing of open items in the banking functions
• banking and deposits of incoming cheques (is this a thing of the past?)
• generating aged accounts receivable reports and distributing to each practice
• conducting, summarizing and logging regular meetings with Partners
• preparing and emailing reminders regarding overdue accounts
• follow up verbal and written communication to internal and external stakeholders
• dealing with internal queries about credit issues
• maintaining collections history database
• monitoring credit to ensure the firm meets its monthly KPI
• general assistance to the finance team

In addition to the routine tasks you will also be a significant contributor to our change agenda:

• Implementing new systems and processes to automate regular reminders to clients
• Individually looking for ways to continuously improve the service that we provide within the firm

Candidate profile

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following attributes and skills:

• Credit control or similar experience in a similar, or larger, organisation
• Accounting graduate and/or qualifying as ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc
• Good command of spoken and written English as well as Mandarin and/or Cantonese

Your key responsibilities:

• As a member of the regional BLAFC team. supporting the CB and IB Business across the APAC region, provide AFC advice to the business on global cases, transactions and strategic product, client or other business initiatives and policy application, leveraging AFC subject matter experts.
• Provide support to the Regional Head of Business Line AFC who acts as senior point of contact on regional client financial crime risk matters; work on action plans to address risks or control gaps.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum of 5 years prior experience in AML Advisory with working experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or Global Markets.
• Working experience in assessing and dispositioning client risk factors, such as adverse news, PEPs, high risk industries
• Proven experience working within a Global team in a multinational organization with proven experience in stakeholder management engagement.
