Job Summary:
Salary: Basic $3800 - $4800 + Performance Bonus + Transport Provided (Dual Ways)
Working Time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6:30pm
Location: Penjuru Lane
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver green marine engineering projects within set timelines and budgets.
- Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate technical requirements, and develop project specifications.
- Coordinate and oversee engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and regulatory requirements.
- Review technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of green marine system designs.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for project safety and reliability.
- Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project budgets and track expenses, providing regular cost reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate procurement activities for green marine system components.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services required for projects.
- Conduct site visits to monitor installation activities and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare project progress reports and technical documentation for stakeholders.
- Manage delivery of documentation, including FAT, HAT, SAT, and operational manuals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field required.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Marine Superintendent, with a successful track record in engineering project delivery.
- Advantageous to have knowledge of marine vessel systems and propulsion technologies.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, along with project management tools.
- Strong project management skills, including task prioritization and adaptation to changing requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide project teams.
- Experience in procurement processes and managing supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and ship classification society requirements.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in outdoor or shipyard environments.
