· Responsible for manufacturing management and quality control (QC) based on the quality assurance system (QAS)

· Design and develop forms, work instructions and methods for testing and evaluation.

· Utilizing knowledge in engineering fields for chemical and product quality inspection.

· Ensure lab equipment/instrument calibration and maintenance are maintained as planned.

· Trend and feedback of monitoring data to relevant sections and drive for investigation and action as necessary.

· Chemical Analysis of products using ICP, X-ray diffractometer, HPLC, FTIR, particle size analyser, UV, Endotoxin test and chloride, sulfate, carbonate limit test.

· Carry out TOC, Endotoxin test, and environmental monitoring tests.

· Carry out maintenance and calibration of equipment. Maintain accurate inspection, maintenance, and calibration of records.

· Perform investigation when the test is out-of-spec or abnormal.

· Prepare validation documents and carry out the qualification of equipment etc.

· Cross function collaboration to achieve compliance with quality requirements, improvements, development and implementation of new products /processes, supporting customer complaints, etc.

· Process explanation and audit support in customer audit

· Corrective and preventive action (CAPA) support

· Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Education:

Diploma in a scientific discipline or possess equivalent experience or higher.

Experience:

· Five years’ experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical laboratory environment

· Have experience with lab equipment such as HPLC, ICP, FT-IR, UV Spectrometer and environmental monitoring sample testing.

· Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Working Conditions:

Work is generally performed within an indoor laboratory environment with adequate temperature. Personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a Laboratory coat, Safety shoes, Appropriate gloves, hearing protection, Respiratory Protection etc., will be required for potential exposure to hazardous chemicals and noise hazards.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Project management, system testing, technical analysis, optimization of processes and working collaboratively with key stakeholders including technology partners
* Providing engineering design support; addressing technical and safety requirements for battery energy storage systems in accordance with industry standards, project and local regulatory requirements
* Preparing and reviewing technical documentation
* Performing analysis and diagnostics; proposing and implementing corrective actions for performance and reliability exceptions of battery energy storage systems
* Managing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of smart grid and battery energy storage systems to ensure optimal availability for market participation and grid ancillary services.

Requirements:

* Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
* Experienced working with, and deep understanding of Remote Terminal Unit, Power Conversion System, DC-to-DC Converter, illary liquid cooling system, different battery types and Battery Management System
* Keen to explore new technology and adaptable to related challenges
* Passionate about energy management and sustainability
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills
* Able to conceptualize new ideas and communicate effectively, with strong written capabilities

• Assist in monitoring the progress or implementation and effectiveness of Quality Management System (QMS) for relevant standards such as:

a) ISO/IEC 17020: 2012 – Inspection Body

b) ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 – Laboratory

c) ISO/IEC 17065: 2012 – Product Certification

• Assist with training in quality awareness
• Assist in keeping track of relevant quality standards, and ensure compliance and preparedness for External Audit
• Assist QA/QC Manager with Internal and External Audit
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

• Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or equivalent
• At least two (2) years’ working experience in a similar role.
• Well-versed in quality assurance, quality control and the application of relevant accreditation standards such as ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17065 standards etc
