Responsibilities

• Conduct QC inspection for customer feedbacks.
• Provide technical and quality related assistance to other departments, assist in marketing department’s recipe, videos and photo shoot when required.
• Perform regular internal and external product quality control and monitor their quality so as to provide timely feedback to category/supplier for improvement.
• Compile/archive QC report related documents.
• Assist to maintain, source and purchase QC equipment and consumables when required.
• Assist in product development or product improvement sensory evaluation preparations when required
• Assist sales or commercial departments with product specification, certification and quality related document requests
• Generate product ingredients/nutritional label and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Prerequisites

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in the food industry QC/R&D environment
• Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology or related disciplines
• Possess good interpersonal skills, self-motivated & methodical

Job functions includes journal posting, balance sheet reviews, fixed assets, WBS creation & closure, inter-loan reconciliation, withholding tax, GST, coding of receipts, Accounts payable & receivables and bank reconciliation for a subsidiary’s account. Other functions include grant claim submission & audit. The role will also be in-charge of review and update of the risk control matrix.

The primary responsibilities are:

Controllership & Shared Service
Duties include journal posting, balance sheet reviews, fixed assets, WBS creation & closure, inter-loan reconciliation, withholding tax, GST, coding of receipts, Accounts payable & receivables and bank reconciliation for a subsidiary’s account. To ensure transactions and reviews are completed in a timely and accurate maner.

Financial Governance, Financial Risk Management and Control
Update Risk Control Matrix in a timely manner, to highlight areas of concerns for management review.

Grant Claim Administration
Assist with the reimbursement functions and ensure the recordings are in accordance to the terms and conditions stipulated in the funding agreement and timely submission of claims in accordance with the agreement. Assist with both internal and external audits including AUP audits as required by the funding agencies/ministries. To ensure income accrual/billing/grant claims are performed timely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably with audit experience
• Ability to set priorities, complete work with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Diplomatic in handling internal and external stakeholders, with proven track record in building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at various levels.
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, good working knowledge of SAP S4HANA is an added advantage.
• Excellent team player who demonstrates flexibility and embraces collaboration.

Work Hours

Full-time employees must work a 5-day week, including a weekend. Your work schedule is pegged to the center's operation hours and operational needs. As a general rule, you will work the following hours:

• Weekdays: 12.30pm to 9.30pm (inclusive of one hour's meal break)
• Saturday or Sunday: 8.30am to 6.30pm (inclusive of one hour's meal break)
