About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Accounting Officer who will work with our financial records and make sure they’re up to date. The Accounting Officer has to get strong understanding of accounting principles for handling accounting tasks including expenditures, receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and profit and loss. • Work closely with all stakeholders to coordinate, clarify, and advise on issues related to grant processing, ensuring timely and accurate processing of grants.
• Apply accounting knowledge for the posting of grant receivables/payables and reclass of non-fundable expenses through SAP.
• Maintain and review proper data records of grant submissions and working papers.
• Regularly update/review the work schedule to report on the progress of the assigned submissions.
• Address any grant-related queries raised by grantors and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Possess 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a shared services environment.
• Knowledge of SAP system, grant management and robot process automation management will be advantageous.
• Experience in working with iGrants, IGMS, and the SAP system will be advantageous.
