Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager and team in managing and maintaining the buildings and related facilities
• Assist the Manager and team in handling correspondence with tenants and all stakeholders in facilities management matters
• Plan, implement and execute preventive maintenance regime and/or ad-hoc upgrading project and monitor the work progress
• Source for comparative vendors/sub-contractors to carry out facility maintenance/repair works
• Supervise facility staff to ensure day-to-day facility operations are carry out smoothly; oversee outsourced vendors on preventive maintenance and any other ad-hoc repairs/ enhancements.
• Conduct safety tool box meetings and briefing to facility staff
• Ensure smooth day to day operation
• Service contract administration
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior staff when required

Requirements

• Diploma in Facilities Management/ Building Services or equivalent
• 1-2 years facility management experience preferably in industrial buildings
• Good proficiency in MS office and presentation skills
• Keen to learn and adaptable to changes
• Possess a positive attitude and the right aptitude
• Able to work beyond office hours when necessary

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in site supervision work in sewerage projects.
• Certificate of WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Spaced Operation (previously known as Safety Instruction Course for Supervisors – Manhole (SIC)) will be an added advantage
• Certification either under the WRc Sewer Pipeline Assessment and Certification Programme, SgSTT’s Pipeline Assessment Certification Programme or WSQ Certified Used Water Collection Technician will be an added advantage

Job Scope:

General Ledger

• Assist the Finance team with the year-end closing activities and external audit.
• Prepare reports (Annual Statistic Report, e-collection statistic report etc.) as requested by the management.
• Perform reconciliation of bank statements and balance sheet schedules.
• Data entry of transactions into account system.
• Prepare journal records for revenue, bank charges, adjustments, etc.
• Assist in prepare monthly and quarterly GST report.

Receivables – Donation

• Donations receipts (via cheque, credit card, online) and accounting in Workday and issuance of Tax-Deductible Receipts.
• Update Donation Management System.
• Conduct surprise cash count for donations.
• Assist GL Team in GST reporting for Sponsorships-in-kind and e-collections report.
• Prepare Annual Statistic Report, assist collating data from institution on e-collection statistic.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and follow up on reconciliation items.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / equivalent qualification in accounting.
• Knowledge in accountancy with at least 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge and experience in handling matters relating to Donation will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate).
• Good team player with positive attitude, problem-solving skills and meticulous.
