Job Summary

Vela Diagnostics is seeking a Full Stack Cloud Developer to develop software development activities for result interpretation and reporting software in accordance with Vela design control and SDLC processes. The individual shall be able to develop existing or future software products offered by Vela Diagnostics.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Will be responsible for developing and maintaining existing or future software products offered by Vela Diagnostic.

2. Document requirements, design, verification and other key development activities in accordance with Vela quality procedure.

3. Develop high-performing, scaling and innovative end-to-end solutions

4. Collaborate with engineers, bioinformatics and verification engineers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions

5. Build features such as web services and queries on existing tables

6. Understand performance parameters and assess application performance

7. Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice

8. Support Regulatory Assurance department in product regulatory filing process as needed.

9. Work with regional support teams to attend to and resolve customer issues.

Job Requirements & Attributes

1. Diploma/Bachelor in IT related tertiary qualification and at least 2 years of experience in Industry setting

2. Minimum of 4 years of software development experience in web and cloud application.

3. Extensive programming experience in Python, Django, and C# or NodeJS

4. Proficient in cloud computing, preferably experiences in AWS

5. Solid experience in the Linux full stack development, databases

6. Strong experience with modern web frameworks and/or libraries such as React, Angular, etc.

7. Knowledge of common design patterns in software development (MVC, MVVM, etc.)

8. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and BitBucket

9. Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application

10. Willingness to learn new technologies and implement in short time

11. Comfortable working in a multi-discipline, geographically dispersed team

The role of an International Business Developer is to proactively develop the business opportunities and forge long term relationships with the top international Engineering and Design companies with a special focus in a certain Hilti E&I segment. This role includes key account development in a large complex engineering related environment.

Role and responsibilities:

• Proactively grow the profitable sales of Hilti solutions to a defined portfolio of accounts within a certain segment through promoting additional services and value engineered solutions
• Work with key decision makers (principally Engineers) to secure specifications, technical approvals and recommendations for Hilti products and facilitate cross functional relationships between these key contacts and the technical sales force at Hilti
• Develop clearly formulated strategies to generate measurable contributions to your customer’s profitability and their own customer relationships
• Plan and execute appropriate activities to new customer groups to ensure the rapid and accelerated introduction of Hilti solutions and prepare for future market developments
• Working with Engineering firms, getting specifications on important projects and successful achievement related to Project/account support and specification creation
• Support Business Units in special projects
• Support the Market Organisation on special projects /assignment to develop projects or markets

Job Description - Front Office Executive / Receptionist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Functional

· Manages incoming and outgoing mails, parcels, messages, fax and phone calls and ensures that the relevant personnel receives them

· Attends to queries from walk-in visitors, students, staff and vendors

· Prepares and issues car park labels and visitor passes

· Manage record books such as those relating to rental/ booking of school facilities and ensure room keys are accounted for

· Updates internal phone list, staffroom seating plans, locker plans etc.

· Manages loss and found items

· Ensures neat and clean reception and lobby area

· Provides administrative support and documentation filing

· Oversees Administrative Assistant in the ordering of supplies (printing paper, stationery, newspapers etc.) and ensures constant supply of materials for use

· Assists students in administration-related matters (e.g. collection of Examination Certificates, use of sick bay, issuance of Student Identification Passes, issue combination locks, etc.)

People Interaction

· Communicates and coordinates with internal departments

· Liaises with School Attendant to ensure the sufficient supply of refreshments for pantries

· Covers the duties of the administrative assistant and personal assistant in their absence. Attend ad-hoc task as assigned by superiors.

Minimum Qualifications

GCE O levels/ Diploma / Bachelors

Experience

Reception/ administration experience advantageous but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Responsible for front-end development, debugging and modification of both the company's existing projects and new projects.
• According to the work arrangement, efficiently complete code writing with high quality and effectively cooperate with back-end developers to fulfill related task.
• Optimize the overall framework design and basic component development for the project's front-end.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in development of web applications with react js.
• Strong in HTML/CSS, Javascript (JQuery).
• Good problem solving skills.
• Familarity with PHP will be a plus.
• Passionate about new technologies and highly motivated.
• Able to communicate fluently in English and/or Chinese.
