Job Description

1. Perform frontline duties, greet and register patients.

2. Assist in coordinating and controlling the flow of patients.

3. Triage the patients upon their arrival, measuring their vital signs and directing them to appropriate clinical zones.

4. Maintain medical records of patients.

5. Assist doctors and nurses for various patients' medical needs, such as collecting medications and preparing for wound dressing.

Requirements

• Degree from an established university in a related field such as statistics, data science, business analytics, analytics, applied mathematics. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or Public Health will be an added advantage.

The HR Officer/Office Administrator oversees various HR and administrative functions. This role requires a thorough understanding of Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Employment Act, including expertise in managing work permits and adhering to relevant regulations and procedures. Additionally, the position involves regular reporting to global HR and ensuring compliance with global HR policies. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is required.

Role and Responsibilities:

HR Administration:

• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with global HR standards.
• Manage employee records and ensure compliance with MOM regulations.
• Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

Work Permit Management:

• Handle the application, renewal, and cancellation of work permits for foreign workers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures for work permits and visas.
• Liaise with MOM and other regulatory bodies regarding work permits and employment issues.

Employee Relations:

• Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts.
• Conduct employee orientation sessions and coordinate training programs.

Office Administration:

• Oversee general office operations and ensure a well-organized and efficient office environment.
• Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment and facilities.
• Handles clients and employee's travel itineraries

Reporting and Compliance:

• Prepare regular reports for global HR on local HR activities and compliance status.
• Ensure adherence to global HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Singapore’s employment laws and regulations.

Payroll and Benefits:

• Assist in payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries.
• Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave management, and other benefits.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to payroll and benefits.

Skills and Experiences:

• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
• Familiarity with MOM regulations and work permit procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Roles & Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in speech signal and natural language processing (NLP), encompassing various areas such as speech recognition and verification, speech synthesis, speech enhancement, speech emotion and sentiment analysis, speech coding and compression, computer processing of human languages, theoretical and empirical analysis of natural language models and applications, NLP enhanced by human computation and interaction, NLP for information retrieval in web

and conversational search, and large language model (LLM). In addition to research, the successful candidate will actively participate in teaching and administrative duties at a level that aligns with the expectations of a world-class, research-intensive university.

To facilitate research development, the successful applicant will be allocated dedicated time with a reduced teaching and administrative workload initially.

Responsibilities

• Secure research funding to establish and expand research initiatives, while delivering high-quality research outcomes in the form of publications, invention disclosures, engineering designs, and other relevant outputs in the fields of speech signal and natural language processing, as well as other disciplines associated with Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of undergraduate and postgraduate curricula in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and related fields.
• Provide support, supervision, and mentorship to undergraduate students involved in project work and other academic endeavors, as well as postgraduate research students in their research projects and career development.
• Actively participate in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, College of Engineering, and University communities by engaging in activities related to research, teaching, enterprise, student experience, and widening participation.

Requirements

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
